We stayed at Almaty Hotel again during another trip and had a very positive experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. It was easy to move around the city, visit nearby places, and find restaurants within walking distance. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. Check in and check out were smooth, and everything was well organized. Overall, Almaty Hotel remained a reliable and pleasant place to stay in Almaty. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

Location is strategic, over all staffs were courteous, breakfast spread was good and room was clean. However, I requested for nice Mountain View facing opera house in my booking and were given city view instead.
I booked for 2nd June (1 night), due to our flight, we were only able to check in at almost 4 am the next day and still had to check out at 12pm or will be charged for another day stay.
It would be great if the staff on duty is attentive on customer’s request and shown some empathy since we only spent 8 hours in the room that we paid for full. Thank you

Everything went well until the checkout. The female receptionist told me to wait for 5 mins for the room check. It turns out that she disappeared for the meal break but didn't pass the information to other staff. So disappointing.

The hotel upgraded me to a suite with a separate living area and a bathtub. The only downside was there was nowhere to hang the shower head in the tub. Weekend breakfast is from 8-10 AM, but if you need to leave early, you can get a packed breakfast which is very substantial.
