Booked this hotel because it was near to the airport, and being only 20 minutes away made for a great stopover between flights. That said, the hotel itself has plenty to offer. The rooms are nice and clean. We actually had an issue where we had too much hot water which is sort of the opposite problem of what you'd expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also had plenty of water coolers around to refill bottles, which is a nice touch not all hotels would offer. We didn't use the pool, but we saw that it was large and plenty of people were using it. Breakfast was simple, but did enough to cover all the bases. All in all, would recommend a stay here. Especially if you're looking for somewhere near the airport to crash.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, with the exception of a few things, which I will discuss later. Pros of the hotel: 1. Convenient location of the hotel (at least for our family). 2. Excellent breakfast (buffet). 3. Excellent work of all the employees at the reception. 4. Public transport stops are almost a minute away. 5. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby for every taste, so you will definitely not go hungry. 6. There are also various shops and shopping centers nearby. Cons of the hotel: 1. There is a sports center nearby, where training takes place until late in the evening, so the noise will be heard until 11 p.m. 2. Repairs on Makataeva Street do not allow calling a taxi to the hotel itself (I hope that it will be finished soon and you will not care). 3. Transfer from the airport. Even taking into account that the flight arrived in Almaty a little later in the morning, we did not wait for the driver, who was stuck somewhere in a traffic jam, and after half an hour of waiting we called a taxi to the hotel ourselves. That seems to be all the interesting stuff.

On my last night in this hotel, someone knocked on my door to borrow a charger. I don’t know why he didn’t go to the front desk. I said I was using it and he said I could borrow it later. At midnight, he knocked on my door again. I was already asleep and was woken up by him. I was scared to death. I didn’t open the door.

The hotel has a swimming pool, which is very unique. There is also a sauna, which is a benefit in winter. The hotel is very close to the largest wholesale market in Kazakhstan? And within 10 kilometers, you can enjoy all the delicious food and fun in Almaty.

The room facilities are too old, the curtains are not tightly closed, there is no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage up and down by yourself to the second floor. The environment inside the hotel is average, the breakfast is very average, and there is nothing to eat.

Except the bathroom is a bit small, everything else is better.

Resort hotel, two floors, I chose a room with a small bed, two 0.8m small beds; the room with a big bed is more comfortable and has a lot of space. Bring your own toothbrush, but the water is not enough, so you need to buy water yourself

Hotels abroad do not care about hygiene and environment. As long as it is big and has a swimming pool, it is fine. This is very different from domestic hotels. The outdoor swimming pool is very worrying about hygiene. The pool is full of leaves, debris, etc. There is a person next to it who is constantly fishing.
