The hotel is in good location in the city centre where you can find coffee shops restaurants shops and supermarkets and stores s close to the beach staff are friendly

The room is large, well-equipped, and in an excellent location. The price is affordable and the view is great. The view from the balcony is great. The breakfast is also good. It is worth a try for a few extra euros.

Arrived and checked in ok. Went to the lift which was so outdated up to level 3. First impressions of room basic old furniture and a very dusty sofa. Fridge didn't work as you couldn't reach to plug it in so we had to rearrange the room. Lots of long black hairs on the bathroom floor. Bedding and towels were nice and fresh bed was comfy even though it didn't look it. Nice view over to the sea. Didn't eat here but drinks were very cheap. Pool was cold so didn't use it but sat by on the sunbeds. Great location not far from the town and about 20 mins walk to the beach. It's just not 4 star and needs an update but would stay again for the location.

I was with my husband 50 years ago for our honeymoon and we had fond memories of this hotel. Now we have returned for the anniversary and we loved it again. The staff is great and always attentive. They told me that they plan to modernize it and that they will eliminate the staircase in the hall and the chandelier, which would be a tragedy since these elements give it a glamor and distinction, an aristocratic air, which gives the Gran Hotel its own personality. It has been a pleasantly positive experience that we will not hesitate to repeat.
