We (my wife and I) have been guests in First Camp Sjöstugan - Älmhult from DEC. 22 through DEC. 30, 2023.
Certainly, we were not expecting to find 5-star accommodation in a camp.
However, we were expecting to find a clean accommodation.
Instead, what we found was one of the bed sheets and one of the pillows stained with, what seems to be, blood.
As our daughter lives in Almhult, she lent us bed sheets and pillows.
When we requested towels, the hotel administration said that the supply of these items was not included in the reservation, and we should pay separately for them.
It should be noticed that during the reservation process we were not informed about this.

Not good value for money (family room)
Lovely area though with both nice walking and cycling paths. Unfortunately, the family room wasn’t good value for the money, we paid. We don’t usually stay at campsites but we use hotels and hostels in Sweden on a fairly regularly basis and this room was just too small for a family of four (two adults and two small kids who rarely stay in one place during the night). To be fair I have to mention that we were staying on a Saturday in July, so we expect to pay a premium. Still too pricey. The staff was super friendly though.

Fantastic location at the lake Mockeln, many single or semidetached cottages with living tool, bed 🛏️ room and toilet 🚽. Totally peaceful environment, walking 🚶♀️ in forest 🌳, biking 🚴🏻♀️ , canoeing 🛶 or just enjoying calmness. Great for different year seasons depending on people preferences. Food in main camping house whole day or near by villages

For the camping I would give a 4/5, the location is SUPER, but the booking that was arranged by telephone by the customer service, was not in order upon arrival, they did not even know about our booking, and did not understand anything when I showed them the confirmation email. Robert, the receptionist, helped us well. The restaurant is nice, with a view of the lake, but the pizza was not tasty: too dry, not creamy, only some ham and rocket on it, no tomatoes, no cheese.
