BluSalzz Collection - Binsar Eco Resort, Binsar - Uttarakhand
0/543 Reviews
The hotels location, staff, ambience and especially the food was great. I would say one of the best foods any hotel can serve. If would've given 4. 5 if that's allowed but half mark cut as there were some power cuts in the afternoon but that's alright, the main issue was wifi wasn't available properly and the kitchen contact number wasn't accessible from the room. It kept getting off. Otherwise fantastic experience
Seed at Queens Meadows, Ranikhet
4.9/552 Reviews
Queen meadows is a beautiful resort in a jungle. If u really wish to enjoy the serene peace and nature then this place is for you. Very nice hospitality and quick response. They serve you wherever u wish in resort. Setting up ipl in open through a project again is a creative idea where u can enjoy your evening. Tt, badminton, many other sports equipment are available. Food again is very tasty and dining place is too serene to have your food. However getting correct route fron ranikhet towards resort is bit complex, gps will not help, you need resort person to remain in touch as soon u reach ranikhet to get right direction, we roam around 45 minute in ranikhet but fail to identify right direction eventually resort manager on call directed us towards right way. Secondly resort must ask if visitor need pick up facility from road to resort or wud like to trek. After a day only we found that pick up is available, there we felt bit discriminatory so better to avoid this. Special mention about mr. Sanjeev owner of resort, he is down to earth person and wud provide every suitable suggestion u require. To feel nature, be at this resort.
Gostops Kasar Devi

I booked a ”Deluxe Private Room with Ensuite Bathroom” at gostops kasar devi at almora for a 3 day business trip in nov. I knew it was a hostel and not a hotel and therefore carefully chose the room that I did. Upon reaching the hotel around 10 pm, after a 12 hr long road journey, I was given a room on the rooftop, which was nowhere close to what was shown and promised on the gostops website. At the outset, the room was Stinking, as if its doors hadn't been opened for months together. When I asked for an alternative, I was told there was none. At 10 pm, in a place like almora, I didn't want to go hunting for another place. I accepted another room, much below the acceptable standard to sleep for the night. There were no amenities in that room and no service in the property. I reported the matter to the on-site staff. I wrote my grievance on their website immediately. I also raised it via WhatsApp using their chatbot. I called them 2 days later because getting to them on phone was almost impossible. I was advised to write an email, which i did instantly. I requested, that my money be refunded because the property failed to give me what was promised. They have the audacity to tell me that the booking was non refundable, not realising that I cancelled because of service deficiency and not because I wanted to cancel of my own will. Gostops doesn't seem to understand the difference between the two. I am going to take them to court. If you are planning to book a trip anywhere in the country and are thinking of gostops, think twice before you do. They are just interested in making a quick buck without any care for customer service.
Sun N Snow Inn by Leisure Hotels

Our most amazing stay on our 12 day trip to Uttarakhand was in Kausani and the only reason was Sun n Snow hotel. We chose this property to see Himalays Snow Peaks but sadly wildfire in jungle made visibility poor but still we had lot of fun here. Property location is perfect, its quiet, warm and welcoming. Rooms were little small but common areas and garden was quite spacious and full of flowers and greens which we all loved. Amenities were well taken care and ambience was very good. The most awesome part of this property are people, very warm, very welcoming and always ready to help. Special mention is Shivraj ji who should be in a 7 star hotel, always smiling and helping out in different ways. We wanted to drink chai in open areas and all other hotels said no because of monkeys but Shivraj ji said you guys enjoy your tea and I will stand here with big stick and take care of monkeys. Now that's a service oriented approach. We stayed here for 3 nights and when we visit Kausani again in future we will book Sun n snow again for sure. Totally happy so 5 stars to them.
Tree of Life Grand Oak Manor Binsar

The old house serves as a constant amongst the ever-changing hills, providing a perennial home amid such transformation. Our journey from Delhi to Kathgodam via the Shatabdi train was a delight. The subsequent journey from Kathgodam railway station to the Grand Oak Manor was nothing short of thrilling. Despite encountering a forest fire and a thunderstorm on the day of our arrival, which resulted in prolonged driving for five hours, our family pressed on, aided by a forest ranger and with reassurances from Mr. Rajan. On reaching our destination, we were greeted by Kailash who took us in the I Suzu for bumpy ride of 600 meters toward the Manor. We found ourselves instantly charmed by the warm welcome and generous hospitality. After receiving a warm reception, which included drinks, we were shown to our rooms. We opted for the Mountain View room, which offered a breathtaking depiction of the Nanda Devi mountain range. The Grand Oak Manor is an unforgettable destination lying within the Binsar Forest Reserve in Uttarakhand. This historical colonial residence, once the home of Sir Henry Ramsay, Commissioner of Kumaon, has been restored to embrace its original grandeur. During our three-night stay, we utilized two rooms. In total, there are four rooms on the first floor, strategically situated near the inviting restaurant and sunset lounge. Additionally, there are another seven or eight rooms on the ground floor. Interestingly, the manor operates on solar power. Consequently, hot water supply is only available from 7pm to 11am. Despite this limitation, we understood and respected the constraints associated with this remote location. Even meal requests need to be placed at least two to three hours in advance, to ensure the food is prepared fresh as per our preferences. The cuisine was simple, homely and gastronomically delightful. The daily high tea ritual was always a treat, complete with a homemade cake and delicious plum jam. Our early morning bird-watching sessions, led by an experienced and humble naturalist, Mr. Ram Singh, were informative and entertaining. We were fortunate to spot a plethora of birds and even heard a leopard's call. On the subsequent day, we embarked on an adventurous 6.5 km trek to Zero Point saw yellow-throated marten , barking deer birds, adhering to the adage, no pain, no gain. Every evening, we were provided with a hot bag and hot water in a flask. We were particularly impressed with the well-trained staff, specifically Pankaj, Ganesh, and Kailash who went above and beyond to accommodate my family. Without a doubt, we are looking forward to our next visit.
The Green Village Eco Resort Jageshwar

If you guys are planning this amazing property, would suggest you to please take the route via Almora as it's maintained and roads are way much better than the other alternate route from Dhaulachina, there isn't much distance in KMS. Roads via Dhaulachina are not in good condition plus narrow, it's not maintained as it route towards Pithoragarh which Government should take care of too. Lets talk about this Property, once you reach the property you will find it easily accessible as its a road side property ***** with ample space for car parking both in the premises and outside the property, they have CCTV cameras installed which makes the property and the space safer. This property has beautiful ramps towards cottages which are surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees and way will properly guide you to your rooms, view from every room is splendid however, it will be good if you can opt for Super Deluxe room, each room has their own entry and exit space plus balcony. Room size is good, Bathrooms were neat and clean, They have smart geysers installed and rooms have fireplace which is neatly maintained. Comfortable beds and linen, wardrobe, shoe rack, dressing table, coffee table and separate table and chairs to sit within room and outside room two chairs available so you can enjoy beautiful sun rise and sun set from your balcony. Food was sumptuous, you may find service delay in serving however, good things takes Time as they serve you fresh and hot food. I found service quick and they also have buffet system available if in case its been opted, I would suggest go for Al-a-Carte as you can order per your wish, Special Kumauni Delicious food items may take time and you are requested to pre inform them. Last but not the least, owners of the property are really nice people and down to earth like all other staff available, they will take care of your stuff proactively. Whenever, you are trying to visit Jageshwar, would definitely recommend stay in this resort and you will take beautiful memories *****. Jageshwar Temple is just 2.5 km away.
