Better not to drive there and leave car at public park. If no big luggage it works

Las habitaciones son en general cómodas aunque necesitan algún arreglo, pero ningún huésped se va a sentir fuera de su casa, ya que la atención es exquisita y servicial. Su ubicación en la población es ideal y su vista al castillo espectacular.

Reservamos una noche en éste hostal para hacer el Caminito del Rey al día siguiente, la verdad es que buscamos algo barato para una sola noche, pero estoy escribiendo está opinión porque nos ha sorprendido gratamente este alojamiento, tiene una ubicación perfecta, está gestionado por una anfitriona encantadora, las habitaciones son amplias, algunas con terraza y vistas al Castillo Árabe y además de todo esto la limpieza es exquisita, recomendable cien por cien.

This is a fabulous hostal in the heart of beautiful Alora. My room was quiet & comfortable with a lovely view of the Arabic Castle. There is a bus stop very close, providing easy access to the fabulous Caminito del Rey. Excellent value for money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - and my room had an excellent view! See pictures! I felt very safe, travelling alone. My room had a fridge and a great powerful shower! Very comfortable bed and towels provided. The location is in the old part of town, on a a beautiful street - perfect for exploring. Thankyou Hostal Duran!

hôtel très propre , Avec tout ce qu'il faut dans la chambre y compris un frigo, le seul hic c'est pour se garer , difficile de trouver une place et aussi les rues sont tellement étroites avec des descentes très prononcees.donc faire gaffe quand on conduit.

Second visit to the Hostal Duran this year and as good as the first time.
Anyone looking for basic, clean accommodation can't go wrong with the Hostal Duran. The Centre of town is minutes away with an excellent choice of bars and restaurants. It's also an ideal place to stay if you plan on walking the "El Caminito del Rey", the train station station is around 10 mins walk from the Hostal where you can take the now more frequent trains to El Chorro thanks to Renfe adding extra trains.

Had a fantastic stay at the Hostel Duran.
Lovely place in the heart of the old town, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep.
We had beautiful views from our terrace to the castle, I suggest booking a room with a balcony/terrace.
Rooms are basic (it's a Hostel) but clean, spacious and beds very comfortable.
The room was also cleaned daily, the whole property is spotlessly clean.
Can't wait to return.

A great stay at the beautiful Duran in the hill-top town of Alora. Monica and Paco are excellent hosts who were friendly and helpful. My room lived up to all the good reviews and the view from the balcony spectacular. I would definitely recommend
