Stayed at this hotel with my partner over the weekend of 4th-5th May as we were attending the British Superbike meeting at the Oulton Park circuit which is only a 30 minute drive from this location. We had a small double room with an on suite, TV and coffee/tea making facilities. The room was very clean and tidy and adequate for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and the on suite had a decent shower. The owner Henry was very welcoming and a good host. Breakfast was by order the previous evening with plenty of choice and the quality when served was excellent, possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts that I have ever had. The Hotel does not cater for evening meals but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a few minutes drive. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone who is visiting the area and we will certainly be using it again for any future trips.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful farmhouse. All the staff are fantastic and so friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Fab pillows and good bathroom facilities. 5 stars!!

Stayed here for one night for a catch up with friends from Uni. We usually look for something not too pricey that gives us a decent bed and breakie and this fitted the bill. Yes it’s a bit old fashioned and could do with some updating but the single bed in the twin room I was in was ok for one night, the shower was hot and the breakfast was very good. It’s always a bit strange having to select what you want the night before but as we were out for a few drinks the night before it was always going to require a full English anyway! There is plenty of parking and short walk to some pubs and restaurants in Alsager.

Anything that should shine didn't. The windows, mirrors, glass doors, bathroom tiles....all need a good clean. Also, the table in the guet lounge, was very dirty. You have to order your breakfast night before. Not impressed with it. The duvet slipped off the single bed all night. I never saw the proprietor until I left, the bar wasn't open and no food available to my knowledge apart from breakfast. I would not stay there again.

Small but comfortable single room with all the facilities you would want for a nights stay. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room and compact en suite. Host was lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was a pre order the night before which was fine. Choice was very very good. Had a comfortable night sleep, although did find that the bedding was a strange feeling material. Breakfast the following morning was lovely, table was all set up according to your room number. Couldn’t fault any of it and the service from a very pleasant and friendly young man was exemplary.

I stayed with a friend for an overnight trip to visit family. We had a twin room on the 1st floor. Room had a double & a single bed. Double bed was ok, although we didn't look too closely at the mattress, or the bedding. The single bed had seen better days, mattress sunk in the middle & when I removed the mattress protector, I was shocked at how soiled the mattress was. It was so bad that it made our stomachs turn. Overall, the hotel was dated & grubby, as was the bedroom. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast. It was well cooked & plentiful. Although the patio doors were filthy (inside & out) that we were sat in front of & some of the cutlery dirty, which was off-putting. The waitress was very pleasant but she had no apron on & dirty trousers. The owner looked unkempt, too, when he appeared out of the kitchen. I would definitely not return to this hotel & would advise people staying here to check the condition of their mattress before sleeping in it. I wish I had 😒.

Stayed here for the first time November 2022 for two nights whilst visiting family in the area. The hosts could not of been any friendlier giving us a very warm welcome and checking us in to a lovely quiet room just as we had requested. Everything about this hotel/Guest house is quality, with fine good quality bedding , spotless in all areas and a fine breakfast useing the best ingredients. With the Hollie Trees being a very easy location find 6-7 mins off the M6 Nantwich... a great stop over with off road parking...it's a great find and would highly recommend.

We recently stayed for one night on our trip north. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean although in need of updating. The bed and bedding were comfortable and of good quality. Perhaps the towels could do with replacing. Our room faced the main road and the double or maybe even triple glazing provided excellent soundproofing. Not the same can be said of other guest who stomp along the corridor at midnight and one can hear the water pipes. Overall it is a perfect cost effective place to stay for a night. Added bonus is that pets stay for free - and are allowed in the dining room.

This hotel is very good value for money with friendly owners and a great breakfast choice including plant milk and gluten free bread which sometimes small places don’t provide. We had a room each on the front double for single occupancy a reasonable size and very clean. My friend was more comfortable than me as his room (5) had two windows, ideal on the very hot weekend we stayed. I’m an earplug wearer so the road noise didn’t bother me but my friend assured me it wasn’t a bother I would have given it five stars but on this hot weekend, it lacked a sheet under the duvet which is all that was needed and also a wee bit of fruit offered with the breakfast would have been welcome. But all in all, good value at 300 each for four nights. We were visiting family so really only slept there but there’s a comfortable lounge if you were around during the day and large ish garden to the side. We would definitely stay again.
