Das Hotel liegt zentral, man ist sofort in der Altstadt. Wir haben in einem Komfort-Pavillon übernachtet, der sehr geräumig und komfortabel war. Auch das Bad war groß, die Ausstattung neu (tolle Dusche) und bot genügend Ablagefläche. Vom ersten bis zum lezten Moment haben wir ausnahmslos freundliches Personal erlebt. Das Frühstück fanden wir qualitativ sehr gut mit genügend Auswahl, auf Wunsch gab es auch Rührei. Begeistert waren wir von dem hervorragenden Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant. Sollte man unbedingt probieren. Als kleinen Kritikpunkt: Es gibt keinen Tresor im Zimmer oder eine andere Möglichkeit (Rezeption), Wertgegenstände zu verschließen.

Das Hotel ist leicht zu finden und es hat immer genügend Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Hotel. Wir haben ein Familienzimmer gebucht, das sich gleich neben dem Hotelgebäude an derselben Strasse befand. Das Zimmer Nr. 42 ist schon etwas heruntergekommen und so dermassen nah an der Strasse, dass man das Gefühl hatte, die Menschen auf dem Trottoir stehen im Raum. Das kleine Bad/WC scheint etwas moderner zu sein und ein Zückerchen gegenüber dem dunklen Schlafbereich im hinteren Raum. Nun ja, wir haben dafür nicht viel bezahlt und blieben ja nur eine Nacht und Frühstück war auch ok. Trotzdem würde ich für ein nächstes Mal lieber ein anderes Hotel aufsuchen.

Pleasant small hotel which covers several different buildings. You would check in at one location and maybe cross the street to your room. The rooms are clean, airy, perhaps a little on the small side. It was sufficiently comfortable but because there was only one pillow, I can sleep only on my back; there were more issues when attempting to sleep on my side. Apart from that and the lack of a safe, it was a pleasant stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would also recommend the hotel restaurant too. There is private parking available, I found it easier to park on the street. Just double check where it’s OK to park as some parking in Alsfeld is paid parking.

Reception friendly, businesslike. Room 15 large, street view, no noise. Hotel has many stairs, no elevator. There are 2 armchairs in the room, and toiletries in the large shower. Comfortable bed, good light. No refrigerator, sorry. Also no safe. Price 94 euros is just fine. Breakfast just good! All together: pleasant stay close to the center. Street parking went well.
