Such a wonderful place. We loved everything about it : The incredible kindness of the people working here : they made us an amazing breakfast and offered to feed the sheep with them. The cabins themselves, beautifully decorated ! Very spacious and modern, loved being able to make a fire. Incredible views during the day and also during the night spotting auroras. Through the big windows. We travel a lot and we can say without a doubt that is one of the best places we have been staying at. We stayed an extra day since we loved the place so much and already look forward to coming back and staying a bit longer this time!

My colleagues and I went to Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge for a two days writing session. The place was really quiet and cosy. The food was exellent; local and well prepared. For example, we were served a delicious meal of high quality reindeer meet accompanied by, among other things, wild growing lingonberries. The rooms were clean and the staff were superfriendly. I highly recomend a stay at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge.

Alta is a great destination within the Artic circle
It is the ideal base for a day trip to the North Cape and the town has lots of history.
The surrounding countryside is truly stunning.
Bjornfjell offers superb and ultramodern lodges which are perfect for families.

Siisti, nykyaikainen ja kaikin tavoin hyvä hotelli. Ystävällinen ja asiakkaan huomioiva henkilökunta. Hotelli sijaitsee vuoristossa, kaupunki on etäällä, mutta sijainti sopii auto-/motoristimatkailijalle hyvin.

Struttura semplicemente perfetta per ricaricarsi dopo un lungo viaggio. Molto pulita e accogliente. Camera spaziosa con vista sulla montagna. Consigliata la wellness lounge privata da prenotare alla reception! Colazione varia e ottima.

In der Umgebung von Alta ein vernünftiges Hotel zu finden, ist nicht ganz einfach. So haben wir uns für die Mountain Lodge entschieden, die ca. 20 Kilometer nördlich von Alta liegt. Die letzten ca. 2 Kilometer auf einer ungeteerten, aber sehr gut befahrbaren Stichstraße in den Wald. Freunde absoluter Ruhe finden hier ein sehr gutes Refugium - auch wenn unser Zimmer im Haupthaus und die Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten eher klein waren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das angebotene Abendessen auch für norwegische Verhältnisse eher teuer, das Frühstück gut.

Amazing stay over Chris**as!! The cabins are so cozy, the spa cabin was private and relaxing, the food was incredible and overall the service from the staff was fantastic — they thought of everything and anticipated all of our needs. I would love to come back and stay even longer next time.
