We booked La Serena for a quiet and peaceful week in September. No one informed us of the “fiestas de Moros y Christos” until we were there. The marching bands “battle”against each other until 06:00 am, nearly under the hotel. Literally 3 sleepless nights, forced us to leave. Nevertheless, we were charged the full amount, under threat of calling the police if we refused to pay. So, if you’re looking for a relaxing, calm & quiet holiday, stay away during festivities.

Superb experience in Altea👌🏻 Perfect situated Hotel with the most service minded staff you could ever want. We are here for the second time, but definitely not the last time. Don’t. forget visiting the restaurant, most probably in top 3 of the whole Altea region. Best recommendation for staff, service and hotel🙏🏼

We stayed at this amazing hotel for four nights, and we love everything about it. The atmosphere, the staff, the location, the room, the backgarden with the swimmingpool and the cosy outside area for a good wine and dinner in the evening. We will definitely come back next summer.

Lovely boutique hotel that is close to the old town. We did move rooms, first room (1) had no natural light and was in the basement so we asked to move to a smaller room with a large balcony overlooking the pool (8) which was a lot nicer if you like light airy rooms. The hotel is very quiet and only has 11 rooms so you are never unable to get round the pool. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Altea. I would only recommend Altea for a couple of nights as there is not much to do here once you’ve visited the old town which is a very steep climb up to. P.S we didn’t try the spa in the hotel either. The hotel staff were very pleasant but this hotel is not ideal if you enjoy general chit chat with other guests or staff as it just so very quiet….We were the only English too.

Hotel de relax, muy acogedor. Bonito y personal muy amable. Despert**** y contemplar el casco viejo con sus casas de blanco y con la Parroquia en lo alto. Un lujo! La zona de la piscina, muy bonita, asi como toda la decoracion. El unico pero, el parquing caro.

Fuimos mi mujer y yo a pasar un sábado. Plan romántico con spa. Cuando nos va a tocar el turno del spa, nos dicen que lo sienten pero que se ha estropeado el calentador del agua. Chafón de los gordos. Le preguntamos al señor de recepción ( muy amable y muy por la labor de solucionar el inconveniente ) que iba a hablar con dirección. Nos dice al rato que ya ha hablado y que le preponían hacernos un bono para la próxima vez que fuéramos. Le decimos que no, que queremos nuestro dinero, ya que no hemos utilizado el servicio. Al final consigue que nos devuelvan el dinero. Le decimos que venimos desde lejos adrede porque nos apetecía un spa, y esperamos que tengan algún tipo de deferencia por los inconvenientes. La deferencia fue que no nos cobraron una lata de cerveza que cogimos del minibar. Volveríamos a ir? En absoluto.

Un hotel con encanto totalmente equipado situado en el casco antiguo de Altea. Personal muy atento y agradable que miman cada detalle de tu estancia. Habíamos cogido una habitación que amablemente nos cambiaron por otra mucho más espaciosa para poder disfrutar de nuestra estancia sin coste. Cama muy cómoda y baño muy bien equipado. Desayuno muy completo. ¡¡Repetiremos sin duda!!

Spotlessly clean, good location, comfortable beds, good shower, nice cold beer, nice breakfast, modern stylish decor. Spa is at an additional price, which I felt given the price paid could easily be included for one hour per day per room. Definitely worth a walk up the hill to the old town!

Lovely hotel, room was very clean and well equipped and decorated beautifully, the same can be said throughout the hotel. Views were great, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, fantastic food and thoroughly enjoyed the spa. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone.
