CITY POINT BEACH & SPA HOTEL
4.4/548 Reviews
The overall impression of staying at the hotel is not very good. At the reception, it is almost impossible to ask anything in English, you just need to wait for the manager and talk to him. Room service is simply absent, all they will do for you in the room is make the bed and take away dirty towels and do not even leave clean ones. There were 4 of us, and there were always 3 towels, and each time I had to go ask for them. The food is monotonous, there is no seafood, only a few types of fish. 3 - in-1 coffee from the vending machine, juice is just a tragedy-some kind of diluted concentrate that has nothing to do with juice also from the vending machine. The beach bar offers only juice, water and beer. They won't give you anything else from drinks there. If you are traveling for less than 7 days, you will not be able to use a la carte, although such information is not provided at all when booking. We had ultra all inclusive, but we couldn't even use it and didn't understand how it differs from the usual all inclusive, and the hotel didn't give us an answer either. The beach from the hotel is small, not quite clean and not beautiful. The only positive aspect was the interior of the hotel, SPA and animator Ali, who gave his best and always raised our mood (I would give him all 10 out of 5).
Maril Resort Hotel

After staying in a hotel in Didim, it closed about 10 days into my holiday, I was moved to this hotel and I have no complaints. It's the newest, tallest and probably best hotel in Altinkim, located on the edge of the resort. The hotel is very grand and luxurious-slightly clinical and there are probably more luxurious hotels, but this is most definitely a 5 star hotel. It was nice to stay in such a place in the Pamdemic, as everything looked spotlessly clean. The rooms are just WOW. Make sure you get a Seaview room-not really for the Seaview, but the rooms have floor to ceiling windows that were just amazing. Waking up to the view and having a nap to the sunset was beyond amazing. The rooms are large with a Mahooooosive bed and georgous wooden floors. The bathroom is very nice and modern, though I prefer to have the option of a bath-no big deal that they didn't though. The pool outside was small, but adequate with sunbeds. There is a bar next to the pool, which served all your usual drinks and a bonus of fruit juices which were really nice. The restaurant is on a higher up floor, surrounded by glass windows, overlooking Altinkim. For the food, you get your bits-salad, bread, a tonne of other stuff if you like, then the waiter comes over to give you the menu options. I really liked this, knowing that the food was freshly cooked. The food was really nice, with a variety of options. The wine was very nice also. There was just one 'entertainment' lady on-as it was quiet-Pandemic-who spoke to guests on occasion, but in terms of entertainment, there wasn't any-in the day or evening. In 'normal' times there is, but I cannot comment/give an opinion on them. There are also more resturants, but for the same reasons, they were not open. I also treated myself to an afternoon in the spa. I don't normally use the hotel spas, but it was literally new, georgous and oooozed luxury, so I couldn't resist. My treatments were absolutely divine. It was reasonably priced TBH, though I'm thinking this was because it was not only towards end of season, but due to the 'situation' at the time, you had more room for bargaining. Overall, I had a splendid week here. It's not a hotel I would had chosen, as the one I was staying at was a beach resort, and I love being on a nice beach-they do have their own beach, but it's nothing to write home about, and you've got the main Altinkim beach near by. I would describe it as more of a business hotel, but had been told that in busier times, it's more for a holiday-with more things available to cater for a tourist. Would I return here? Again, as in all my reviews, I never really return to a hotel/area once ive holidayed there, as I like new experiences in terms of both the hotel and resort. Would I recommend this hotel? Most definitely, on the understanding that it's got less of a holiday vibe to most hotels and if lots of pools and a decent beach is a must, this is not the hotel for you.
Tuntas Beach Hotel - All Inclusive

This hotel is advertise as a four star. This is misleading: - There is free WiFi but only by the swimming pool and lobby area which has no air condition. Internet is very unstable. You are not able to use WiFi in your rooms. If you require to contact anyone with ease you would have to pay for WiFi using your network provider or purchase a Turkish SIM card for £35. Rooms: - Garden view is very misleading (please see picture for what they class as a garden view) - The beds are two single beds put together (please see picture for visual) with stain sheets - Cleaning - does not include fresh sheet nor clean towels! Towels are given which are stained and not clean (see pictures for visual) Accessibility: - There is only one lift which is small and, you have to use flight of stairs to access the lift. So this is not pram nor wheel chair freely. Health & safety: - The room does not have smoke alarms that work. I’ve recorded the smoke alarms no visible lights flashing. This was the same as all present smoke alarms on floors. - Smoking is permitted everywhere - lobby, by pool, including rooms. There are no restrictions on smoking. You are given ash trays to smoke even in your room. However no visible working smoke alarms. - On arrival fire alarm switch in hall way on the fourth floor outside 419 is hanging off the wall exposing wires therefore indicates it is both faulty and a hazard. Although it was put back onto wall. - Toilets stop working during our stay twice. In both room the toilets stop flushing. (A group of us staying). - A pool without lifeguard. During our stay my nephew almost drown due to getting his leg caught in float. - Advertised entertainment but, there was no table tennis nor garden. Hygiene: - The food quality is appalling and does not reflect what you pay for. The storing and heating of the food does not reflect hygiene standards of a four star hotel. Firstly the variety is terrible and secondly the food is on rotation (Suggests reheated daily). For example - The chips are hard and stale. Nothing is fresh. - The food is not covered appropriately therefore you get the flies in, on and around the food. (I have pictures of this). - There isn’t anything sensible to eat so getting inclusive is really pointless. - The drinks that are included in their “inclusive” offer is not sensible. The sprite is sparkling water with added lemon. Cola - this is not nice. Huge langage barrier. Despite being a tourist location staff don’t really understand you so this creates difficulties. You need google translator. Cleanliness - you may as well bring your own mop, broom as so forth. Please bring your own plug adaptor. Save yourself disappoint do not book this hotel! I promise you - you will be disappointed for the amount you spend to what you get. Loveholidays should remove this from their site especially after researching other reviews! Altinersan Hotel

Great little hotel in the centre of Altinkum. The hotel is bed and breakfast but also provides lunch snacks and evening snacks if you do not want to go out. It also has a lovely bar that can be accessed inside or outside. Rooms are very clean, beds comfy and lifts are very clean and new. It is only listed as a two star, but I think it deserves better. There is an accessible pool to side of hotel with plenty of sunbeds. Will certainly go back again. Air con is included in the cost of room.
Seahorse Deluxe Hotel

In a word, it's a disgraceful place. We entered, the lady took us to the room, she opened the door, and when you entered the fish section in the petshop, it smelled like heavy dampness, and at that moment I understood how we had come to a place. We came from outside and said let's wash our hands and face, there is no soap dispenser. I went and told the officer 5 minutes later he brought me soap in a cardboard glass, brother, to see if this is available. I didn't bother him with a smile. The old beds squeak at the slightest movement, it squeaks so much that my little girl wakes up with this sound. There is a kitchen in an aimless way, but there is nothing for you to do anything, it is empty. We went to eat because of the pandemic, we take table d'hote style, cardboard plate, plastic spoon fork, etc. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, just as the food was in the artisan restaurant. We ate standard home-cooked meals while we were waiting for things like barbecue, meat, and meatballs to come out in places like this. It was not good for the holiday environment. Breakfast was always the same, there was no bagel, bagel or anything different. I can't say anything to the young people who work, I didn't expect them to work 14 hours a day and get scolded by the boss and be friendly. We went to the nearest sea 400m away, it requires a thousand witnesses to say the sea, I just dived with the huge rock sea goggles, we came back before these stones entered. Don't mind that it says unlimited local drinks, there are cola, fanta, sprite, you know, ayran soda, ice tea, does it have to drink fizzy drink, everyone said I wanted ayran for my daughter, it's going to be extra, I started to get nervous already there. It has a standard pool, it's not dirty, there's nothing else you can do anyway, like crazy, face the pool to the right and to the left every day, there is no other option. The water incident was the last straw. Water paid yes, you didn't hear it wrong. If you want to buy water with money, there is a fountain at the bar at the entrance, don't fill it with a big bottle, they get angry. It is forbidden to take water to the room for a glass. You should have seen the regret on the faces of people who came on holiday in the next rooms but had problems like me. There are 2 swings and a slide in the hotel, it's like a park, we couldn't even clean it to swing our daughter. The bed sheets were naturally wet and dirty. On the 2nd day, at lunch, I told them I wanted to change it, it was 10 in the evening, I did not come, I went and told the attendant, it was late, he says, why should he say it during the day? I won't take it too long, because I didn't have a mask on the last day, I asked the lady at the entrance if there is a mask next to her, she says, unfortunately, we don't have it, there is no child in front of you. Those who want to go, think carefully and evaluate, don't ruin the best days of your year just because I will escape from 500 TL. A DISGUSTING BUSINESS.

Breakfast is impossible to drink tea in a glass glass. Very dirty. The crack knife on the table is always sleeved
