This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Our suite was spacious, with a balcony (we could see the sea through the trees), and a separate bedroom. We had the facilities to make our own coffee or tea, plus there was a microwave, electric stove and fridge. There were plenty of plugs where you could charge i-pads, phones, etc. Every evening there was a knock on the door and we were given an envelope saying "Let Life Surprise You" and inside were delicious cookies. The restaurant, "A Terra" was brilliant. The bread was toasted in the wood oven, the marinated olives and algarvian carrots were delicious. There was a wide choice of fish, meat and pizzas. The atmosphere in the hotel was one of friendliness and helpfulness. The front-desk staff were great. A short walk brings you to the miles-long beach. Altogether, a hotel well worth visiting. And, by the way, there are plenty of good golf courses near by
