Very good value hotel in a good location for Alvor  Nice pool and a very good buffet breakfast  The Hotel has a pool and parking make sure you get a room with a balcony otherwise the room would be too cramped

Arrived mid morning, easy booking in, got the keys to our room and informed about breakfast. We had bed and breakfast with an apartment room. The lift is tiny, two people and their suitcases is tight, we used the stairs mostly. We were in room 306, with balcony overlooking the pool and a nice view of the town and surrounding hills. Everything we needed was in the kitchenette and the room and shower room was clean. Everything as seen and described on the website. Breakfast was the cooked hot option, cereal, fruit, yogurt , breads, cheeses, fruit juices, meats and pastries. There was also a drinks machine that did very good hot chocolate. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. While there was no information about Alvor in the room, there was a folder and leaflets in the lounge area. The pool area was very clean and although it was too cold to use on this visit I’m sure it would be lovely in the summer, we did sit out on the sun beds on the warm days . We would recommend this hotel and would stay again

After staying here last year, we decided to return for a longer holiday. This is a small quiet friendly hotel and all the staff are polite, helpful and attentive. We had a large room ( junior suite) at the front of the hotel with a decent sized balcony, which we used for several hours every day as the sun was on it all afternoon. The noise from the traffic didn't bother us even at night and there were far reaching views of the sea and over to Lagos. The location was great being only a ten minute walk into the centre of Alvor and the supermarket only a couple of minutes away. A taxi back from the harbour to the hotel cost less than 5Eur, more at the weekend. For us, the proximity to the Eden Restaurant proved to be a bonus. The housekeeping team worked very hard and our room was cleaned to a very good standard. One down side to the room, as others have mentioned is the lack of drawer space. However this year we came prepared with compression packing cubes and this worked a treat in keeping smaller items of clothing etc from slipping off the shelves. We did attend one of the Managers meetings with guests, over a drink and the Hotel Management are well aware of the fact that drawers in the room would make people happier and are looking into it. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a good choice of cooked items, as well as bread, rolls, cheese, ham, fruit, juice, pastries etc. Snacks were also available at the pool bar until 6.00pm. The pool itself is absolutely freezing but once in it was lovely. The sun lounges were comfortable and we were always able to get one where we wanted even though the hotel was busy. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much, the weather for late October was pretty near perfect and we hope to be back next year.

We stayed at agua jardim in sept/Oct for the second time. The hotel is lovely the rooms are roomy and are kept clean and tidy by the housekeepers. The breakfast is good with everything you need for a decent breakfast plenty of choice. Pool area had lots of sunbeds and we did not have any trouble getting a sunbed. However my only gripe is the pool area was cleaned on a morning and the floor around the pool hosed down with water but left with lots of excess surface water which I considered to be very dangerous as there were a lot of elderly people in the hotel. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful and we are already booked for next year. The position of the hotel is also very good for access to the town and reasonably flat.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location just a short walk into town. The staff are wonderful and helpful. Plenty of choice of food at Breakfast... Rooms did not have a great deal of storage, but manageable and while we were there they held a meeting between staff and visitors to discuss any recommendations/improvements, drink included. Would definitely return
