Won’t be back- -Award night not allowed for platinum -Internet was terrible -door had to be closed forcibly to close - loud due to proximity of interstate - hard to get to for construction All of these were inconveniences but livable. Hotel was theoretically sold out so we couldn’t book another room for family member. Then Our toilet stopped working and they told us no one here to fix it but would move us to another room. When I said I thought you were sold out, I was told that “we keep an extra of each room type for when things like this happen. I asked if we could also use the room without a working toilet since no one else could use it for the night. “No but we could sell it for 1/2 price”. So we couldn’t use award night, no consideration for moving rooms, and were “allowed” to pay another $85 for a room with no toilet. It’s rare for us to stay at holiday inn Express anymore. Normally it’s holiday inn when we use IHG properties. Last few experiences with express have all been subpar. This one appeared to be clean- but not the service we’re used to- and certainly no feeling of appreciation. My rule is to stick with 4 star or better ratings when booking- broke my rule for this one location… but wish I hadn’t. The fact that they were able to squeeze an extra $85 out of us I guess gives them the win.

It was a hotel in many countries, so it was good to stay in facilities and room conditions. I used it for business trips, but it would be nice to use it when I come to play.

Brought our dog and we’re welcomed. We were on the second floor and had no major noise issues. Our room was clean, provided toiletries were missing however not a problem for our one night stay. The back of the hotel is very grassy and clean and our dog loved rolling in the grass! The free breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. The egg omelette was tasty with American cheese, the bacon was crispy, my husband loved the link Turkey sausage and the patty sausage as well. There were also muffins and breakfast pastries. Service was friendly! It was a great overnight stay.

Nothing really surprising about the rooms or hotel in general; it's a nice new Holiday Inn Express and the rooms, breakfast, and so on are pretty much what you'd expect. There was a malfunction with the electronic lock in my room on my first night and the person at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Glitches happen and I was really happy with how responsive everyone was.
