The hotel and service was everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Staff was super friendly and attentive to any needs. Hotel is modern, clean, and up to date for a location that was built in 1927. Surprising good night life and several restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. Several right across the street. A very quiet pleasant stay. Didn't hear people coming or going from their rooms at all hours of the nights. I had a room that was next to the elevator and never heard it once and this was on a busy weekend. The only downfall with the property was a lack of pool/spa. So this may or may not be a deal breaker if you are trying to entertain kids.

The rooms are newly renovated, very clean and modern, and there are not many parking spaces in the parking lot if they arrive late. The front desk service brother is very enthusiastic. The location is very convenient.

Room temperature is cold, hot, cold, hot. Air should not blow directly on occupants when heating, cooling.
No real Restrarunt, only bistro, Mickey Mouse bar. Misrepresented as full service. Should advise when parking is extra charge.

Ein Genießerhotel! Frau Jane am Empfang sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Sie hilft auch beim Frühstück mit. Glückwunsch an die Geschäftsleitung zu dieser kompetenten Mitarbeiterin! Zimmer und Bad sehr großzügig und sauber im 9. Stock. Betten sehr bequem. Super Aussicht auf die Stadt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher angenehm frisch. Das historische Hotel zeigt sich von seiner schönsten Seite. Trotz Innenstadtlage sehr ruhig. AC mit Heizung funktioniert gut. Hier haben wir sehr gerne die Übernachtung genossen.

Quick trip into Amarillo for a wedding. Very cold weather, but the hotel was wonderful and the staff were courteous and accommodating.
