I cannot say enough good things about the Grand Caribe!!! The staff, from the front desk to the poolside bar to the spa were all absolutely wonderful! The restaurants were top notch and the spa treatments were out of the world. We have travelled many places and we will 100% be returning to this island paradise.

I stayed here on my second trip to Belize many years ago, and on a recent trip with my in-laws I brought them to show the place as we were looking at purchasing property. We made it up the steps and walked through the entryway where nobody really said anything but watched, and when we got to the back patio and looked around and I was pointing some stuff out. A security guard came and asked us if we were staying there, I said no and that we were interested in looking at what was available property-wise, and he said we needed to leave. We hadn't done anything other than walking through the reception area and saying good morning to people. We weren't loud, we didn't get in anyone's way, and we were dressed appropriately. The proper thing to do would have been for him to find somebody that would talk to us about what properties are currently for sale and introduce us. You get one chance to make a first impression, they just ruined that with my in-laws, and the second impression on me sure as hell is not good. I have stopped off and looked at this place and gone down to walk the pier every time I've been down here, never had a problem, but this time visitors aren't allowed.

The Grand Caribe Belize is truly outstanding in terms of service and comfort. We stayed at a couple of other resorts during our visit in San Pedro and neither compared to this location.
We were particularly impressed with how tranquil the resort was. Even though I believe it was at capacity, we felt like we had the grounds practically to ourselves. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There are many activities available all around the property!
Finally, we truly appreciated receiving a room upgrade! Our suite was a one-bedroom and had more room than we had anticipated. Housekeeping was thorough and kept the room spotless. They also did our laundry at no cost daily.
The Grand Caribe Belize is an outstanding value; you won't be disappointed!

The staff at Grand Caribe was absolutely fabulous. From our first experience (rum punch upon arrival) to housekeeping to security to booking or rescheduling adventures. No detail was overlooked to ensure our stay was amazing. The pools were perfect. The view was spectacular. The food was top notch. Whether we were relaxing in our room or exploring the island, there was no shortage of opportunities to make this the vacation of a lifetime.

Best massage EVER! The Spa at Grand Caribe is very nice. Ask for Isidora for the best massage ever. She will tailor to your wishes and you will love it. She knows just the right amount of pressure, she finds your knots and melts them. She has lots of experience and knows precisely how to make you relax and enjoy.

The resort is very beautiful but I was disappointed on the service. We stayed in the 2bdrm suite dor 5 days. The first night the AC wouldn't go below 77 degrees and since it was around 11pm. There was no one at the front desk and night security basically told us we wouldn't get help till the next day. We had to sleep in the heat. Two days later, there's small ants all over my clothes, makeup, and items in the bathroom! I thought it was the color of the tiles until i noticed the movement. I wish I could upload the video on here. There was no offer of compensation or a differ room. We actually was going to extend our stay but checked out and stayed at another resort. We'll be back in November but I won't be staying here again.

Picked this resort due to the reviews that I couldn’t really believe till we experienced it for ourselves and the reviews don’t lie! What a beautiful property and everyone we encountered employee wise were exceptional. Never been treated better and taken care of more than here. Will definitely return.
