An ordinary hotel on the edge of the center on a busy roundabout. By the way, you don't have to worry about this at all. It is about a 10-minute walk to the attractive center. We only used breakfast and the bar in the hotel. You can park your car in the parking garage where Dirk van de Broek customers also park, but Mercure space is reserved. Extremely friendly staff and very customer focused. We still plan to come here again. Top!

Check-in went smoothly. Room was very large and clean. Parking was cheap and is located directly in the underground car park (access to the hotel). The location was great! Direct shopping, 10 minutes walk to the main train station/city center.

It is not good... Invasion of privacy and lost my shoe covers.
I booked a room on 27-10 at Mercure on and my friend booked for next day. When we checked in at the first day, we informed the circumstance to the reception. She clearly said that it could be the same room for 2 nights, hence we have no need to check in again and change a room after one night stay. However, we found our room in a mess when we came back at 28th night.
Our personal bags are opened and filled with stuff that we put outside the bag, which is, without Our permit!!
They opened Our bags full of our private stuff even without telling us!!!
My friend's teethbrush and slippers are put together, face to face.
What's more, I found my rainy day shoes cover missing. I called the reception on 28-10 and she told me that she would inform me next day morning.
But When we checked out there is still no information. And the girls at the reception has changed so I had to explained the whole thing once again.
They asked for my email address and said that they would send email to me as I need to leave.
But, until now, there is none in my mailbox.

The hotel is two bus stops away from the Centraal Station with a very regular service and a bus stop just outside the front door. Friendly welcoming staff at reception and very good staff cleaning rooms. Our room was immaculately clean. There is a restaurant on the second floor with an Asian theme and next door are a couple of fast food places, but OK. A supermarket and other shops are also accessible from the hotel. The beautiful old town of Amersfoort is an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel along the river bank. The only fault we found were the noisy guests on our floor who seemed to think running up and down the corridor screaming at 3am was a lot of fun. But that wasn't the fault of the hotel.

As a platinum member booking the top-tier executive suite with a jacuzzi we expected some nice trea**ent at this hotel. However, our experience fell short. Welcome amenities were not provided. Basic amenities like bathrobes and slippers were hidden in the closet. The ventilation system didn't work, leading to a sleepless first night. Despite reporting a noisy neighboring (room) party with music and screaming till dawn, the situation wasn't resolved. Communication with the front desk was frustrating and had a lot of miscommunication. Although we appreciated the gesture of breakfast on our last morning, it didn't make up for the overall disappoin**ent. This hotel could learn a lot from others in the group and also with resolving issues.

Wanneer je als platinum Accor lid een executive suite met jacuzzi boekt, verwacht je een goede luxe behandeling in dit hotel. Onze ervaring viel echter flink tegen. Welkomstvoorzieningen werden niet verstrekt. Basisvoorzieningen zoals badjassen en slippers waren verborgen in de kast, wat niet ten goede kwam van de beleving. Het ventilatiesysteem werkte niet, we hadden de receptie hiervan op de hoogte gesteld, maar ze konden niets doen wat hielp. Ondanks het melden van een lawaaierig feestje in een andere kamer, met luide muziek en geschreeuw tot in de ochtend, werd de situatie niet opgelost toen we dit meldden bij de nachtportier. Dit tezamen leidde tot een slapeloze eerste nacht. Communicatie met de receptie was frustrerend en er was veel miscommunicatie. Hoewel we het gebaar van ontbijt op onze laatste ochtend waardeerden, maakte het niet goed voor de algehele teleurstelling. Dit hotel kan veel leren van anderen in de groep en ook met het oplossen van problemen en klachten. Het personeel (5 verschillende receptie medewerkers gezien) is wel aardig, maar wanneer de medewerkster bij het ontbijt de enige is die zich écht gastvrij kan opstellen, dan weet je dat er nog veel te doen is.

Geweldig overnacht na een goede film bezoek bij Pathe Amersfoort. Vriendelijke personeel begeleiden u met check-in. Een uitnodigende comfortabele ingerichte kamer voor een heerlijke nachtrust. Ben zeer benieuwd naar hun ontbijt op de volgende dag in hun restaurant.
