Breakfast is okay, very close to the station, 10 euros by taxi.
The room is slightly older and there is an exquisite French restaurant across the road.
The front desk service is particularly good.

Enjoyed my stay. The hotel does have some years on it, but it does have its charm, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is topnotch, and the view is very nice. Overall a very good experience.

Het is een hotel met stijl en historie, prachtig gelegen. Het personeel is buitengewoon vriendelijk, netjes en behulpzaam. De kamer was spartaans, vreselijk donker (bruin/zwarte muren met niets leuks aan de wand) en koud, m.a.w. we kregen een onwelkome schok toen we er binnenkwamen. Het ontbijt was uitstekend

We were very disappointed with our stay. The room is incredibly basic. No cosyness or atmosphere at all and is in serious need of an update. Hospitals have more atmosphere. The room was clean but glass bottles, plates, glasses and trays were littered in front of the elevators. Not just when we arrived but throughout our entire stay. The coffeemachine in the room did not work either. We won't be coming back.

Het was er overal koud. De koffiemachine was niet schoon en gaf een hoop koffiedrap. De afvoer van de wasbak was verstopt. 1 dag was er niet gepoetst of opgeruimd, of bedden opgemaakt. Helemaal niets. De afvoer was wel gemaakt. De laatste nacht en dag, waren ze ons kwijt en werd er getwijfeld of we wel betaald hadden. Heel ongemakkelijk. We mochten blijven zitten voor ontbijt, gelukkig. Er was 1 nacht geboekt door ons zelf en we betaalden €20 extra voor een upgrade. Dit was van 28 op 29 nov. Van 29 nov t/m 1 december was voor ons geboekt door Essenburgh. Was nirt ons beste verblijf, maar was een mooi hotel, maar heeft wat extra aandacht nodig.
