Nice to see how students are eager to learn the trade! Compliments for the unique concept. It does detract somewhat from the experience as a customer. Making coffee is a learning objective, I expect, which is why the coffee at breakfast was insufficient. A lot of talking and coaching between the guests and in the hallways, which makes it restless. This makes the price/quality ratio a bit skewed...

Beautiful room in an attractive authentic building. Young, friendly staff are present everywhere and are in training, which has its charm.

Wonderful hotel. It is supported by students at a local hospitality college but honestly we would not have noticed. The rooms were clean and large, and the building is historic; even the key was a real key. The breakfast was quite good. Everyone was so nice. Minor complaints: the towels could be better as could the toilet paper! The hotel is also not readily accessible by public transportation. However, if you have a car, it is terrific.

The hotel is on several floors without elevators (there is 1 only to access the breakfast room, reserved for staff and you must be accompanied). Not suitable for those with mobility problems. If it rains it is a problem to access the breakfast room.

The Leerhotel Het Klooser is an unusual hotel. The building is ugly, the inside is uninspiring and dated. All of which is perhaps not a surprise if monks used to live there. Next door is a conventional college along with a trainee catering college who work in the hotel. These trainee students make up a good percentage of the staff especially in relation to the catering. This is applaudable although they are a little dilatory at times. The main staff are excellent and very welcoming. The bar area wasn’t particularly functioning and the location of the hotel wasn’t nearly many places of interest. Especially if you are walking. Tips: In walking distance, if you want a nice bar and snacks then go through a nearby forest to the Fletcher Hotel. If you don’t want to lose 3 hours of your life in a drab environment, avoid the 4 course meal option.

A beautiful location and building to stay. The room was simple, but met all my needs. The friendly and hospitable atmosphere of the staff really appealed to me. The breakfast was well prepared and there was sufficient choice. A memory forever.
