Radisson Hotel Ames Conference Center at Isu

The restaurant was closed during the entire day and night. The hot tub was closed before 7pm and the tub made a cracking sound when I would step. It disturbed my guest

I went to the front desk and told the young guy about bugs in my room I asked if they had a bug swatter and he gave me a broom. There were only three cars in the parking lot he cold have moved me to a different room. The bugs were stink bugs if your aware.... Pretty unpleasant.

My 2nd time staying here. Im paying $5 more per night than last time but my room is awful. Last time I was given a 3rd floor room overlooking the parking lot like I requested. This time, a 2nd floor room that has a view of nasty roof vents and a stucco wall. The bathroom wasn't clean. The pillows are basically nothing but air. The room is next to the open balcony overlooking the lobby so everytime someone comes in it is easily heard. There is minimal water pressure in the shower. The tiles on the bathroom floor are cracked and in pieces which I pinched the bottom of my foot on the first night. The volume control on the tv remote doesnt work so I can't turn the volume down. The mini fridge is so lound and vibrates so much it is amplified when I try to sleep on my side because the vibration comes up through the bed. And now I have to listen to the stompers that are directly upstairs from me at 10pm, as they just arrived. Mind you, there's dozens of empty rooms so its not like shes putting people in the last available rooms. Apparently, I'm being penalized for using a 3rd party app instead of booking through them with their ridiculously overpriced rates (which she commented about at check in). The managers/workers who were here last time were much more accommodating. I won't make the mistake of staying here a third time. I wanted to leave after the first night but I wouldn't be refunded the rest of the stay. The gal at the desk my last night was the only good experience this tr

Three items. First, it was noisy. I could hear people laughing and shouting most of the night in the hall way. Second, I thought I zip down for quick breakfast from a buffet, but was told I would have to place an order with a waiter. I sat for 15 minutes and no one came. I asked the manager if I could just get a bagel or something quick. He looked and agreed the waiter was missing and so provided me the bagel. Third (and most important to ******* users), the front desk seemed to take great joy in telling me they would no provide me a receipt since I booked via *******. They said if I wanted a receipt, I should have booked with them directly. He was smiling as he said it.

Dirty towels left, wasn’t clean from previous owners, no trash can, no don’t disturb sign, front desk person ‘not present’

Cleanliness in room was under par for a hotel. Stain in toilet hair next to bath tub and sink. I was only there for one night. But for $60 you get what you pay for. Service was great last at night was smiling and pleasant fast check in. And cute which made my night after a long day.

Clean room, price was great, front desk person was super nice and friendly. Radisson needs to know that the person working the front desk was super nice and helpful and should be praised for her help. This was a 4 pm check in on Saturday Jan 13th

I'm so mad at how I was treated when I stayed at your hotel in Ames IA today. I checked in late on the 25th because I was trying to make my mental health better after an argument with my partner. The woman at the front desk said I could stay until 2 pm today. But at 12:15 I had someone try to walk in on me while I was still in bed. There was no knock, I just hear the door bang as someone tried to get in. I tried talking to them through the door as I was making myself presentable, but they seemed to not hear me or pay attention and tried opening the door more. When I was presentable, they were not at the door anymore and I tried calling the front desk to communicate and see what was going on. However, the phone didn't work and now that I'm looking at the reviews on Google, it seems like the phones not working has been an issue for a long time. Then I had the manager aggressively telling me that I had to leave by 1 pm. There wasn't really a discussion and it was more like I was being kicked out after the staff had already treated me unprofessionally and instead of him being accommodating I had to rush out of there and didn't have time to shower like I was planning. There are other issues with the hotel, such as outlets not working, disgusting stains on the couch, and no soap - they expected me to use shampoo. Windows were unlocked when I arrived. It took about 10 minutes for me to be waiting on after arriving.
