The cook was watching so closely it made a person uncomfortable in the dining area. Wasn’t sure if you should eat breakfast or not.

We liked having a bedroom. The front desk attendant was very nice but had no solutions for our problems. Our TV remote didn’t have any batteries in it, he looked in his desk but didn’t have any. Our desk chair was covering was falling apart.
The swimming pool area was out of towels, attendant apologized and told me I had to go back to my room to get our room towels and then he would give us new towels for showering. The hot tub jets barely did anything.
Breakfast items were out of stock, and just chaotic.

I stayed here twice, once on my way up to St Paul and on the way back. It was such an easy stay going up that I returned.

Bathroom was recently remodeled and very clean. Carpet needs deep cleaning and furniture was worn and grungy. Room needs to be aired out — odd odor. Bed was comfortable and bedding seemed new. Breakfast offered hot and cold variety. During checkout desk person (dressed in sweat pants) didn’t speak/interact which is disappointing. My last stay at a Country Inn and Suites (although it was a couple years ago) was exceptional; it seems their standards have slipped.
