I realized I was booked at the wrong Courtyard. I had a 630a flight so I called to see if I could get moved to the Courtyard across the street from BUF airport. Michelle, at the front desk, warmly greeted me and offered to cancel my reservation if the airport location could accommodate me. The airport location was not as helpful, so I decided to drive the extra 10-12 minutes and stay at the Amherst/University location. Michelle was professional and kind. When she learned I kept my reservation, she presented me with a bottle or water and drink voucher for the hotel bistro. Later she saw me working in the bistro area and offered to schedule a wake-up call. Thank you, Michelle for making me feel so welcomed. Travel can take its toll on being away from home. Your kind gestures meant a great deal to me, and I have shared my experience with my colleagues. I will see you on my next visit!
