Roxani Hotel

This lovely family hotel was a great choice, and a very fair offer for a solo traveller. First of all, I felt as I was at a vacation with my closest family. The room was cosy, redecorated in white and blue style and cleened every day. The pool with a garden was soo sweet, lemon tree, it was so great to have breakfast there. Above it there is a nice big terrace to sit in the evening. Also, mr Marinos and his fife and son were a great hosts. Breakfast was fine, and I ate at a taverna in hotel wcih runs a brother of mr Marinos, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced in a real traditional Greek enviroment - blue tableclothes, traditional music. One evening mr Marinos took me to a boat trip around bay to show me some small beaches and it was very interesting, I even tried to ride a boat and that was exciting. Ammoudara gas a great 6 km sandy beach (5 min walk from a hotel) , lots of space, warm water, shops - wery good one with a bakery in the next building) , restaurants nearby, but never overcrowded, bus stop in front of the hotel, direct line to airport, city center, Knossos, travel agencies with excursions... I had a great holliday and I was so sorry to leave, but there will be a time to visit my dear friends in this sweet place.

The location of this hotel is super good- shops, restaurants, parkings, beach - everything is very close. But the hotel was dissapointment.. The rooms are very very small and one of the rooms smelt like mold.... We took two rooms- in both the hair dryers didn't work. After telling this in reception- there was no reaction. Swimming pool is small and You can use it only daytime... No swimming in the morning or evening. They just close the gate and You can't even chill in the garden. That was sad surprise.. Breakfast everyday the same. The strangers thing that in such country they do not offer any vegetables variety.. only tomatoes. No fruit at all! The staff - the owner is very nice person. Can't tell the same about the wife of the owner and his son. They were very rude, arogant. Next time would choose same area, but different hotel.

We stayed here for 7 nights with my parents . The room was very clean and cozy . The staff it s very friendly , Marinos cooked the best moussaka ever ❤️❤️❤️. Stelios helped us with everything. The pool it s nice. Our room balcony was small , but to drink something after dinner it was perfect . Thank you #Roxani hotel for everything , I hope to see you next year 🥰

Nice hotel, room was pretty but the bathroom was far too small. Toilet impossible to use due to space. Owner is nice but cleaners talk about you behind your back. Breakfast poor quality all the food was cold.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, the best emotions and a magical atmosphere! The hotel is simple, family-run, but we have not rested so well for a long time. And the best dinners we have eaten in Crete have been at this hotel too! We miss you already!
