It's one train stop, about five minutes, from Schiphol Airport, but it's a 15-minute walk after getting off the train. You'll pass a Hilton Garden Inn on the way. The room is quite small, but since I left early the next morning, it was fine for one night as a stopover near the airport. The breakfast was good.
A decent hotel with clean rooms, and the bedding and towels are spotless. It's located right next to the train and bus stations. Getting to the city center takes 11 minutes by electric train; a ticket costs 3 euros, plus a 1.6 euro card fee, making the total fare 4.6 euros if you buy it from a machine. Alternatively, it's a 1 hour 10 minute walk. The breakfast is excellent. On the day of arrival, you're offered a choice between room cleaning or a voucher for two complimentary drinks at the bar for each day of your stay, excluding the arrival day. There's no fridge in the room, but there is a kettle. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you don't mind the distance from the city center.
Check in time ridicilously slow during crowd for concert go-ers. Something with the city tax went wrong but friendly lady was able to fix it. Saved us €16
Room was fine, two seperate beds.
A/c not working at all. CH3 error code
Sheets were not fully clean but fine.
Shower had dirty spots and fungi, way too slippery and possibly dangerous.
Amenities were fine.
Housekeeping at the door already at 9:30 and coming in without permission. Breakfast was fine but way too busy. All together I would say 7 out of 10. Great for short stay and really close to Ziggo Dome / arena district
Hotel was very far from the ferry terminal. This was known when I booked the hotel so no fault of the hotel just that if you are booking here, it will take you 15-20 mins to get to the ferry terminal to take F2 ferry to Amsterdam Centraal. Otherwise take a bus to the metro stop in 10 mins would be faster for exploring the city. Breakfast was basic but included free so nothing to complain about. Room was generally clean. Only small issue that it can get really busy during peak season and lifts take 2-3 mins to arrive. Breakfast if you eat too late spills out of the main dining area. Very crowded. Best to eat breakfast before 8am. Many nice food places and supermarket near hotel.
No heater in room and hence it will be a bit cold for staying when outdoor temperature is less than 8 deg C.
Simple breakfast with not many choice, but food is delicous and enough.
Room is clean and comfortable to stay except without heating facilities inside room.
Fair location with a nice walk into the centre. Excellent breakfast which is included in the price. We paid extra for a canal view. The room we had was in the basement and very small, which was a little disappointing, especially after seeing the rooms above with full size windows.
