Vibrant hotel located at a convenient location right next to the metro station. Room is spacious and equipped with great amenities. Staff are lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The room is really nice. On our first stay we paid twice the price and we got a room with full amenities which made us wanted to go back. But sadly this time of stay (we paid much cheaper) and got “only room” without amenities. When we asked the cleaning lady they laughed and talked in other languages.

I really enjoyed my stay here and the main reason is the service. They allowed me to check in several hours early to catch up on some sleep, no extra charge. I also checked out a bit later to catch up on sleep, no complaint or penalty fine. However, beware, it’s a nightmare getting taxis back to this hotel late at night from downtown, so plan your night out carefully. This is more of an Amsterdam specific issue.

Excellent location for using public transport. Young and clean structure. It has all the useful services.

The location of the hotel is good, the bus 🚌 subway 🚇 is nearby, the hotel facilities are very simple, even shampoo and shower gel are not prepared, the service attitude at the front desk is good, generally speaking, the price/performance ratio is good, and it is no problem to sleep well.

Traveling for more than a month, I have stayed in the worst hotel (I don't know if it can be called a hotel), and it is not worth the price at all. The only good thing is that there are free washing machines. The disadvantages are endless. First of all, most of the front desk is very friendly, but two men (one white and one black) at the front desk who were on duty at 12 o'clock in the morning were very unhelpful. Because they needed to swipe their cards to enter in the early morning, they didn't check in, so they didn't have a card. They rang the bell outside the door and After waving for a few minutes, the front desk looked over but did not open the door. Finally, the tenant outside opened the door for me. When I asked about things, my attitude was also very unfriendly, I didn't answer my questions, and didn't mean to solve my doubts. Secondly, the hygiene of the room is extremely poor, the wall against which the bed is attached has booger and blood (how do people sleep?), and the bedside lamp is full of dust and stains. There were bugs on the walls, the toilet floor and the room carpet. There were also lightning-like hairs on the toilet floor.

Pure scam! Last week we reserved a room in the Student Hotel in Amsterdam. The website lists Standard rooms and Executive rooms We had reserved an Executive room. Unfortunately we got to the hotel and our room was NOT an Executive room. See the pictures. The first photo shows the overview, then photos of the Standard and Executive room (with large bed and windows) and the fourth and last photo is our own photo of our room that we got. This was a regular standard room, while we paid for the larger one. The bed was even only 140 cm wide (a queen, not even a double bed). So a kind of hostel! And that for more than 160 euros for one night! Furthermore, it was downright dirty in the hotel and in the hallway. There were leaks in the hallway, it smelled awful and was suffocating with flies. Of course we reported this to the reception. They had no other rooms and said this was the room for the rate we paid. It's outrageous to be ripped off like that, with pictures of a completely different room, while we were put away in a dirty cubicle, and paid more than 160 euros for it. I've never experienced that with Booking. PS: Finally, the breakfast was poor. The scrambled eggs were gone, so were the sandwiches. All in all: Never again!
