Talk about an upgrade!!! What was once.a safe, clean, albeit rundown motel, is now an adorable, no frills, hip little space in Anacortes. The staff was warm and friendly, the rooms are upgraded with new beds, upgraded bathroom vanities, and a fresh new look. The building is old, so don’t look too hard or you might see a few flaws or hear your neighbors, if they’re particularly stompy, but that’s not the building’s fault. I will be making this my go-to off island hotel when I need to stay overnight to work around ferry schedules to the San Juan Islands. Well done!!!

The room had unusually large counter/cupboard space, deep large sink, great appliances and coffee too, bed was comfy and good location. I would return and it’s obvious someone cares about this place with all these little touches that add up. It’s also wonderful to be able to bring your dog-it’s convenient having a park next to walk too!

Nella? Was so awesome! She was very friendly and helpful. Room was outstanding for the wonderful rate. I will be back. Great place with great folks! I really enjoyed the fire and close proximity to the Ferry terminal and the wonderful room amenities.

Lovely spacious room, beds were comfy and the room was very clean. Room includes a Microwave and a little Keurig coffee maker. They have a fire by the reception which is a nice touch to relax outside for a bit. Would definitely stay here again :)

Really love all the updates and upgrades done to the facility and the rooms. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean, and moderately furnished. Love the new kitchenette and decor.

Got into SeaTac late and needed a place to stay in anacortes since we live in the San Juans. I drive by all the time and had noticed all the new upgrades to the property. GREAT stay. Wonderful service, updated rooms and amenities. Super cute. Definitely my new go to when I need to place to stay in the area.

My husband did not care much for the room but that might be because he came up stair with our luggage etc and was pooped from the stairs (he had heart surgery in Sept). I thought the room was clean, bright, nicely appointed. The bathroom was a little tight. But we both did not like that we had no way to lock the door at night from the inside. The only way in is the combination they give you at the desk. Oh there was no light in the mini hall and had I not had a light on my phone I would not have been able to open the door it was dark dark!

We mostly like the renovation during a two night stay : bright spare uncluttered rooms, all good. But problems remain. The re-do was mostly cosmetic, adding hooks on walls and taking out closets (good). Decor is minimal— fine. But room lights are abysmal (we bought a 1200 lumen lantern at nearby hardware store — no joke). Thin primer paint on ceiling plywood clearly visible. Rusty bathroom window. TV says that you watch your “own shows” which is another way of saying that the hotel doesn’t really subscribe to channels; h’r’m’ph. Hotel was severely challenged by inclement weather. Little ice removal; parking lot an ice pit. I shoveled a path to car. Ice machine was busted (see photo). Unlikely to return with other, better options nearby. Too bad.

Newly remodeled, very clean. Room small, adequate for budget accommodations. Bathroom done well, bedroom too cramped for king bed. Overall, fine for one, too cramped for a couple. Location convenient.
