De Michanna

Unfortunately the place was fully booked and the reservations manager contacted me personally almost immediately to say so to minimise any inconvenience. Alternatives were not available but I would go there if I get the chance to next time I’m in Cyprus

This is our 2nd visit to De Michanna. The last time we came was at the tail end of Covid, so we were the only guests at this complex, I am assuming that Kristof has other properties that he manages, as last year he was on hand daily. However now that everything has opened back up, I assume he has other properties to manage, therefore, we did not see him too often on this visit, this did not detract from our enjoyment at this little complex. The Cypriot style stone villas are very pretty, the villa has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. They even supply pool towels. Bed is very comfy and good quality linen. Lovely little kitchenette with a small oven and grill and all the basics you need if cooking indoors. The gardens are well maintained, although the tree outside of our villa did look like it had a big family of spiders living in it rent free, with had lots of webs. You do need a car to stay here as it is a bit secluded and there is not a bus route close by, this is what we like about this complex, it is secluded, but Paphos is only 15 minutes away.

This little complex of 4 villas is just so beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean the villas are so quaint and are very peaceful. They supply everything to make your stay as relaxing and welcoming as possible. The bbq that is supplied is just brilliant! You do need a car if staying here as it is a little off of the beaten track. I want to thank Christof and his team for our extra treats that were left on our table each morning. Christof and the team are extremely welcoming and are on hand to give any help or advice daily, and always with a big smile. The gardens are so pretty and are kept immaculate, the pool is also spotless with loungers, tables and chairs cleaned daily. This was a truly wonderful relaxing holiday. We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa, with the extra large bed. Thank you so much, we cannot wait to return!! :)

Last minute trip early December, found this villa at a very reasonable price. Was huge, private with orange tree outside. It was quiet, in fact by the end of the first day we had the only occupied villa. Greeted with bottle of red wine, mango juice and water, as well as fruit all gratis. Nothing too much trouble for Christos. He recommended, Olivia Mediterranean Restaurant which was local and amazing. Also very reasonable. On our last morning Christos brought some warm pastries for our breakfast, which was lovely. Would highly recommend, only 10mins drive from Pafos airport.
