Very nice experience at the beachfront hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very friendly. Far from tourist places and the port.

This place is in a beautiful spot and the food was delicious! The swimming pool has a great view of the ocean and there is easy acces to the ocean. My only issue was that there is not much else in the immediate area, so youd have to get a ride into town or anywhere else really. But overall a great getaway if you are looking for a quiet spot with a view!

The first night we were there. Something in the bed was making both of us itch like crazy. I had to get up and put a shirt on so I could go back to sleep. So I sent an email to the owner. Cause we are on a trip.. That place is 2 and a 1/2 hours out from anything. No restaurants nothing. It cost you thirty five hundred pesos to get there and thirty five hundred to get to port. You are trapped on that resort. If you wanna do an excursion, that's another five thousand pesos. And they will nickel and dime you from everything. The second night we had ants in the bed. The owner who is a overweight overbearing german, who thinks he's god. He is rude and he ruined my vacation there with insulting me saying I did not schedule a way home early. His filipino wife had to straighten him out that I did. I'm feel sorry for her having to feed him and put up his crap. I would not go there. They could not give me a free night if I wanted too. No free coffee either.

Beautiful and relaxing location. We rented the Garden house with nice terrace, which included everything what we might needed. It got spacious bedroom with nice bathroom. I appreciated minibar with cold beverages re-filled every day during cleaning. Smiling and helpful staff just supported our overall great experience. Food was tasty as well. Lastly, there are beautiful sea/beach view spots with nice sittings, sun-beds as well as great massage place (don’t leave without full body thai massage). Everything was on point and I can’t give less than 5/5.

A very beautiful, lovingly designed and maintained small complex - small pool, beautiful garden, access to the beach - under German-Filipino management. The sea access was a bit muddy when I was there. Shuttle service to the German-run diving center. Filipino and German/European dishes - you won't believe it but you can try it 🤩 interesting variations - delicious cocktails - very nice and spacious rooms (we had to change two categories as part of the booked booking and thus had two nice rooms, each with a large terrace) - very clean - scooter rental is organized (also by the day - we had two different but very good vehicles) - shuttle service to the airport - island day trips with the minibus (super comfortable for 2-4 people and NO sardine coffee trip) * and if something was unclear or missing ... super hard-working, friendly and helpful staff - in my opinion very good value for money (I had a local comparison ☺️) - fair prices for food and drinks with delicious variations (I would have liked to have tried more ... but the tasteful enjoyment did not allow me to gluttony 🫣😂 - very pleasant hosts - very pleasant ambience with a perfect feel-good character - all in all ... J&R have created a little paradise here in which is worth staying a few days. …. And NO … my stay was not sponsored 😂 I just felt comfortable.. hence the rating

We had a last minute booking but Ralf was quite accommodating over the phone. Got there late at night and the staff made us feel welcome right away. We booked the family studio and the 2 ocean front apartments, which were just the right size for everyone in the group. The apartments did have an ant issue in the bathroom, but the staff responded quickly. There are 4 medium sized dogs on the property who like to hang around the table while you’re dining, which was one of the highlights for the kids. Every morning of our stay, folks from our group walked from the resort all the way to Alona Beach and encountered some fascinating sea and shore creatures such as crabs and starfish. Top marks for J & R!

Haven of peace away from the noise of Anda! Very pretty complex on a human scale nestled in a magnificent, very well maintained garden and on the edge of a small beach which is cleaned every morning. Very clean place which invites you to relax with its swimming pool and sea view deckchairs located next to the bar and the restaurant which are open spaces. Whether it is the family apartment or the apartment facing the ocean, the rooms are clean, well decorated with comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are perfect and of a correct size. Storage is present in the rooms as well as welcome products such as shampoo, soap, etc. Drinking water available every day in the rooms as well as a small fridge. The restaurant is very pleasant for all meals and the food is delicious! The menu is varied, the products are quality and very well cooked. We had fun all week! The welcome from the owners is very pleasant: smiles, availability and kindness are in the spotlight. We recommend this establishment with our eyes closed

Warm welcome by the owners Jilo, Ralf, and staff. Excellent accommodation, good food. The entire hotel and soft landscaping is spotlessly clean. There is also a well maintained Koi Carp pond. We were in room 7, plenty of space, and a nice view out to sea. The swimming pool is well maintained. You can walk to the local town along the beach when the tide is out. We visited the Save & Earn shop. They kindly sorted a problem with my local "Smart" Sim Card and topped it up for me.

Beyond my wildest expectations. I retired in the Philippines and have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout this beautiful country. Resorts in the Philippines can be a hit or miss proposition. Unfortunately most severely lack in the areas of customer service, cleanliness and basic maintenance. The concept of pocketing every peso over reinvesting into the property unfortunately seems to be the norm. The great news is this resort is a unicorn. You feel at home as soon as you arrive. The owners personally great you and show you to your room. The rooms are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean and modern. The restaurant's menu is extensive and the quality and presentation above par. My only complaint was they allowed smoking in the restaurant area (only place I've ever seen that allowed in the Philippines). Would I recommend this resort to friends and family? I think you already know the answer to that question. 😊
