I frequently stay at the Doubletree Hotel in Andover, Mass. for business when I am in the area. One of the main reasons I continue to come back is because of the great service I get when I have dinner in the Characters Sports Bar. Gelene who works at the bar is so nice and pleasant and makes me feel at home every time. She always remembers what I like to drink and what I usually like to order for dinner. I feel that I have a good judgement of character and Gelene to me has a good work-ethic and a great personality when dealing with people. Hilton should be honored to have someone like this as an employee-she is top-notch in my book. The Hotel all around is a great place to stay if you're in the area and Gelene is just another reason that makes it even better. Bruce

The hotel is modern and clean and overall quite nice. We didn’t hear any of our neighbors, but our room was at the end of the hall near a service bay with a lot of noisy machinery (dumpsters/trash compactors?) that ran on and off through the night and woke us up multiple times.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing!! My car broke down and it was an incredibly long day, and I was 2 hrs from home. The restaurant food was great and reasonably priced. My room was clean and I was able to adjust the temperature to my liking. This was a great last minute experience after a stressful day.

Exceptional service from my bartenders Lynn & Linda. Their customer service was top-notch, and they made sure everything was perfect and quick. Very true professionals who made my experience unforgettable. Highly recommend! Will return the next time I am in the area! (Give them both a raise.)
