Anglers Reach Lakeside Village

The instructions are clear and complete. Everything is working. A very smooth and nice stay.

Awesome place! Nice and clean. The hosts are lovely people. Glenn and his wife the park mangers couldn’t help us enough. Certainly coming back, Again!! It you need lures and bait they also have it in store.

It was a cosy and warm location with all the facilities we needed (cooking, cutlery, heating, hot water etc). Perfect for a small family of 4 or group of friends on a short fishing trip. Close to the lake (5 minutes drive) and to Eucumbene River and Kosciusko National Park (about 15-20 minutes drive?). The owners were polite and helpful.

Stayed in cabin 4 for 3 nights a week out from Xmas. Watched some spectacular storms come over the lake one night. During our stay a lightning strike took out the power one morning in the middle of cooking breakfast. No problem, we moved the frying pan across to the conveniently located gas BBQ on the verandah and continued to cook. Anglers Reach is 45 mins drive from Cooma, so you are not just down the road from a supermarket. But it is quiet, peaceful and there is plenty of wildlife. The crimson rosellas come right up to your door looking for a feed, along with the cockatoos, magpies, and crows. Kangaroos and rabbits flood the lawns come dusk. The lake is currently around 46% full, so the water level is a 200 mtr walk. Not a problem. The room was clean and well presented.

We were a bushwalking group of 10 stay ing in a cabin and it was just perfect for us. Beds were all comfy. We always all got a hot shower and always warm enough. We made use of the fire pit for happy hour each night enjoying the view and the atmosphere. Being a large group we meal shared the evening meal making it more practical. It was a pleasure to have a large enough table and enough dining chairs to all be able to eat at the same sitting. Our cabin looked a bit “ dated” but was perfect for us and the price was very reasonable. Bushwalkers are generally a frugal lot. Hopefully we’ll be back again and I recommend it 100%

The only cabin I've ever stayed in that has thought of everything, they had everything covered. I think it's ridiculous that the review has to be over 200 characters long. It nearly forces you to find something negative about the joint that made an allowance for everything except milk, there you go, there's your negative, you happy now?
