From the moment we arrived & were greeted by Kayleigh at reception , to lunch served by a lovely waitress ( sorry I’ve forgotten her name) on Tuesday 30th April . For our Mums 92nd Birthday , with her 4 daughters. We swam first & used the sauna, shower, all spotlessly clean. We had the pool to ourselves . Then lunch of 3 courses & all beautiful , tasty & hot . Delicious food . Followed by shared desserts . Service was great & our Mother had a great time. In a beautiful location. We will definitely return again. Thankyou for making it perfect.

Had a weekend here while visiting the area.Tired, outdated and in need of work. Bedroom furnishing needs updating especially hair dryer! Bed was comfortable except for wooden edge which hurt your legs when getting in and out. Dinner and breakfast were OK but generally the hotel is understaffed. Swimming pool was great and good temperature but adjoining corridor needed decorating. More could be made of the lovely garden

Wow. Incredibly expensive for what it is. One night cost us £170 for a room that looks like it may not have been updated since the 80s. Average hotel room. They even have one of those old-fashioned hair dryers in the bathroom. See photo attached!

Had a 2 days break there.Lovely hotel in a quaint village.Emma,on the front desk was very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much.Our room was cosy and the bed comfortable, the bathroom was very clean too.There's a swimming pool and a sauna,which I used.I will be back and would recommend.

When we viewed wedding venues last year we knew straight away this was the right fit. Kayleigh was amazing and talked us through everything. When it came to the big day, Kayleigh and her team delivered on every level. Amazing food, Helpful and Friendly staff. Lovely Facilities, Beautiful Garden and Comfy Rooms. We were so happy with our choice. Going back there next year to celebrate our first anniversary.

Our 2nd visit……a lovely spot when visiting family. Didn’t disappoint, welcomed by the lovely Emma, and pleased with the room. Ate dinner there first night, excellent. Breakfast for the 3mornings also excellent, and perfect poached eggs 👍 We remembered the lady who looked after us at breakfast from our previous stay, she was a delight. Cleaning team always on the go and with a building with so much history they work tirelessly. Highly recommended 👍

Sunday lunch 10/3/24 booked lunch with friends lunch disaster over charged on food and wine queried this with duty manager (his attitude was very abrupt and arrogant he shouldn't be there wife called a couple of days later And she was told she must be a very Confused Woman and put his phone down tried to contact HO not a chance we will never ever go there again

Unfortunately the kitchen was not open in the evening so I had to eat out. Although the meal & location was very nice it would have been good to have been notified prior to booking in. The receptionist was very helpful with recommending alternatives.

This was my second stay at Angmering Manor and to be honest I was dismayed at some of the reviews on trip advisor A Hotel of this size cannot afford to have many staff running around to ensure perfection no matter what . The team have to work really hard to provide a good experience and as always in life things can go wrong. On my last stay the Chef came to work with what I understood to be a broken bone and was in considerable pain. He did so because he cared. From my point of view I love the character of the Hotel. Each room is different.. I love to have a pint in the bar as the staff have real humour and do not behave as robots ! I sleep well in a comfortable bed, enjoy the towel robe provided and tuck into a stonking breakfast with real sausages. To Kayleigh and team well done and thanks 😊
