Go stay in town. You will definitely have a better stay in Angra.
Their "finest suite" (as the manager stated more than once) had not been properly cleaned in a long while.
There was considerable odor from the mold on the walls in the Master bedroom - black, red, and while mold.
There was a 5cm dead cockroach, hundreds of dead gnats, and paint chips on the floor and baseboards.
There is no beach at this location.
There is no gym at this location.
The employees use the very small parking facility, and park closest to the door.
I had to sweep the bird droppings off the patio myself.
The dining employees are nice, but one time we were told we had to pay cash, couldn't charge to the room, and of course the "credit card machine is broken."
Our TAP Flight was rescheduled to the following day due to a plane running off the runway in Lisbon.
We could not use our pre-paid first night at the hotel, and The Hotel would not issue a refund on the first night .
We lost $263 because the hotel said that they could not refund our card because TRIP.com used a virtual credit card to pay for the room.
I do not recommend this hotel or booking through TRIP.com, and we will never use either of them again.

Para um 4 estrelas é bastante fraquinho, hotel estava em remodelações muito barulho durante o dia impossível relaxar. Não existia uma água de cortesia no quarto, uma chaleira com saquetas de chá/café nada, na casa de banho igual. Não tem um roupão ou até mesmo uns chinelos para podermos ir até à piscina interior ,piscina essa a media luz com apenas 4 espreguiçadeiras e a temperatura da água na placa dizia 28° mas se estivesse a 20° já era bastante, assim não foi possível usufruir da mesma, quando fizemos a reserva escolhemos este hotel pela sua localização e piscina interior aquecida puro engano. Pequeno almoço OK Valeu pela localização e simpatia dos funcionários!

Hotel correcto, desayuno tipo buffet correcto. Personal muy correcto, buena opción si quieres estar cerca de una zona de baño en angra do heroísmo. Fácil de aparcar. Las almohadas incómodas. La limpieza de la habitación bien sin ser nada del otro mundo.

Estive de 21 a 24 Março com MP. Gostei muito, do pequeno almoço, tinha o que é necessario para todos os gostos. No jantar atendimento 5* o sr António que nos atendeu nas bebidas foi espectacular...... Comida muito boa e fabulosas sobremesas.

Despite being a 4-star hotel, I didn't think it was! We stayed on the ground floor next to the reception, the room was comfortable except for there being a door that gave access to the room next door, of course it was locked but you could hear everything that was going on on the other side, the hotel was under construction, so the indoor pool it was full with just 4 sun loungers and the water temperature on the sign said 29° when it was only 20°, very friendly staff, good breakfast and good location, cleaning carried out every day! We will return one day but not this hotel!

I need to give a huge Thanks to Sebastian, Carla, Anna at the hotel! They made our stay here easy, comfortable and enjoyable! Sebastian provided us with excellent recommendations ..for example Rocha Restaurant..delicious and great local atmosphere overlooking the sea. We had a memorable day exploring the island due to Sebastian’s recommendations! The location is great as it’s sits overlooking the sea and close distance to the picturesque city.. I can’t say enough about the people.. so kind, friendly and welcoming.. Thank you! Yes, we would come again!
