Pousada Frezza Mergulho

The inn aims to be a spot for divers; I went with an organization from a dive operator in São Paulo where the boat trips were already organized - the boat (yikes) is reasonable with the possibility of changing the point depending on the quality of the water on the day; Regarding the Frezza, one of the days there was not enough ballast for everyone on board and the cylinders were often not full, reaching around 180 BAR. Even so, the diving experience is good, there is the possibility of diving from the coast from the inn which is right on the sand - there is a shower and tank to wash the equipment when we arrive. The service is good and the food too. The inn's big problem is investing in the comfort of the accommodation. The drains provide little flow, so both the external shower for washing equipment and the one in the room begin to form a small pool. The bed is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, very very hard; If that wasn't enough, the bed linen was of poor quality and the blanket had a strange smell, nothing gave the impression of being clean. The towels are terrible, very thin. In the room there is no single place to put anything, so everything is on the floor. A small table would do the trick. The toilet seat was broken so it was loose. Then things that would otherwise be ignored start to weigh on us, like the flush system being on a rope. Better bed linen, towels, mattresses and minimal support for suitcases in the room would make the experience much better. Another thing, since the lodge focuses on diving, there could be a structure in the bathroom to at least hang the wetsuit without wetting the entire bathroom. The food is great but for the number of guests there is little space to serve, which leads to a wait - for example, the 3 times I went for breakfast, there was only a scrambled egg ready to be picked up once, the other times the staff was waiting. The idea is great, it is in a very beautiful place and already has many good points, with a little investment it would be excellent.

The ideal place to dive the Isla Grande. A diving center with all the amenities on a beach that invites you to spend all day in the water, diving, swimming, snorkeling or on a kayak or board offered by the inn itself. With the possibility of doing coastal diving or going out on a boat to other places, with super professional instructors willing to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The leisurely one is located in Praia Vermelha, a small beach with many possibilities, a charming place where the herons gather in the afternoon to wait for the fishermen and receive some prize for perseverance, a spectacle worth witnessing. A few meters from the beach, swimming near the rocks, you can see sea turtles, as well as lots of life, schools of fish, squid, angel fish, and surely much more. The rooms are simple but comfortable, the food is delicious, made by locals who make a typical meal called caiçara, with a lot of variety and incredible flavors. The quality of the people's attention is what distinguishes the place from any other place. From Frezza and Leti, to the restaurant guys, the cooks and the Dive masters and diving instructors, all with the best vibes so that the experience at the inn will be wonderful. A place to return to.

The restaurant is a shame. There was no one there, we asked several times how long it took for a chicken with bagged noodles to come and always “it will be in max 20 minutes”. After 2 hours and consuming more drink than usual, we went to eat some delicious empanadas next door that were ready in 10 minutes. There is no manager, and therefore no one is responsible. If you don't want to waste your time on vacation, don't go there, I don't know how it has the score it has.

La atención del personal fue fantástica. Martina, Deborah y Romina, increíbles anfitrionas. El lugar es muy tranquilo, ideal para desconectarse.

Café da manhã Ok, simples mais bom. O atendimento das meninas, foram excelentes, cordiais educaçadas e sempre dispostas. Pe na areia.
