Homeinn Hotel (Suzhou Jinhai Avenue No. 2 High School)

I really didn't enjoy my stay this time. I chose this hotel because it was close to the exam center for my child who was taking the college entrance exam. However, on the very first night, I woke up with many mysterious bites on my neck. There were so many, my whole neck was swollen and very painful. When I asked the front desk, they suggested it might be an allergy. But I don't have any allergies, and how could an allergy only affect my neck? The hotel did offer to clean the room again afterwards, which was good, but I had already been bitten. Their pest control isn't up to par. What if my child, who is taking a crucial exam, had been affected? I'm quite upset and worried these bites might leave scars.

The service was terrible, even worse than [that other hotel]. There's a facial recognition system, but it's unusable; they still demand to see your ID, claiming it's a requirement from the police station. Then they turn around and say it's not connected to their network. If it's not connected, why even have it? Just for people to look at themselves in? The front desk staff was the worst I've ever encountered at a hotel, and this is even in my hometown.
