Nestled in the mountains of Anji, the Grand New Century Hotel Anji Old Manor boasts a tranquil and serene environment. The traditional gardens and courtyards are elegant and rustic, offering picturesque views of green mountains and bamboo forests right outside your window. It's the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle, ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. The guest rooms are clean and dry, providing a comfortable stay. The hotel's own Gan Qishi restaurant serves up a delicious and rich fish head soup, and their mixed fish pot has a wonderful authentic, local flavor. The staff provides thoughtful and attentive service. Taking a leisurely stroll through the gardens, breathing in the fresh air, and clearing your mind makes for an excellent short getaway.

Our second stop on this trip was Anji, and we chose this hotel far from the city, spending the entire time relaxing within the hotel. It was a 'lie-flat' vacation, no fuss. Our butler, Leo, was very responsive and promptly met all our needs. It's perfect for a getaway. However, we booked the 'Su Pu' which is up on the mountain, and getting around relies entirely on the shuttle bus. It might be better to stay at 'Shanshui Residence' below, as the main attractions and dining areas are all in that zone.

1. The hotel environment is absolutely beautiful, like a hidden paradise. I even saw black swans and mallard ducks! 🦆 If it weren't for the scorching heat, it would be worth exploring thoroughly. 2. Our butler, Leo, was incredibly thoughtful. He added me on WeChat as soon as we booked, and informed me of all the check-in details in advance. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Leo had upgraded our standard room to a loft free of charge. The kids were thrilled, and one of them slept soundly upstairs! Throughout our stay, Leo was always responsive to our questions and recommended an excellent rafting spot. 3. A friendly reminder: The resort is in a somewhat remote location. If you plan to go out, I recommend calling a car at least 10 minutes in advance. Gaode App (Amap) seems to have a much higher success rate for booking rides than Didi. 4. I highly recommend the Shenxi Gorge Rafting. The water is crystal clear, and there are about 10 thrilling yet safe rapids. The flow is well-designed, with one end for boarding and the other for disembarking.

This hotel is incredibly comfortable and offers a peaceful retreat. The air in the mountains is wonderfully fresh and rich in oxygen. The rooms are also very cozy. The service is excellent, with a butler even sending reminders in advance. They have an infinity pool and hot springs, making it perfect for couples and families with children. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, exuding a strong sense of Zen, elegance, and tranquility.

The Anji Narada Old Villa Mountain Resort & Hot Spring is perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Tucked away amidst tea plantations and bamboo forests, the hotel's landscape gardens are serene and elegant, offering green views from every window, creating an incredible atmosphere. The dedicated butler service is impeccable; they contacted me about my itinerary before arrival, and the buggy service around the resort was prompt and responsive to all my needs. The hot springs, nestled halfway up the mountain, are clean and comfortable. Soaking in them while enjoying the scenic mountain views really helps shed everyday fatigue. With rich amenities and a peaceful, healing environment, it's an excellent choice for a short, relaxing getaway.

The pool was perfect for photos, and they even had black swans! Our butler, Leo, was also incredibly attentive. Overall, a great experience! Five stars, truly amazing!

The hotel boasts a beautiful view, perfect for a 2-day, 1-night immersive stay. There's a boating experience available, though it requires multiple participants. Swimming is also an option during the summer. Dinner was great, but breakfast was quite simple.

I arrived on a rainy day, but the scenery was beautiful. Staying in a thatched hut in the tea mountains was so relaxing. Our butler, Leo, provided excellent service; he even planned our route before we checked in and asked if we needed to book anything in advance. We rowed a boat ourselves and enjoyed the hot springs. The hygiene could use some improvement, especially the sink mirror, showerhead, bathtub, and bedding.
