My mother decorated the house as a personal artistic project according to all her wishes and ideas. It is comfortably furnished and has a living area of 40 m². The kitchen is fully equipped with a two-burner stove, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a fridge with a freezer. The small house has two bedrooms and offers enough space for two people. There is a bathroom with a toilet and a rain shower. A small flat-screen Tv and wireless internet are available for you. There is (de) Sat tv and (nl) Kabel tv and fast wireless internet available. Up to 3 dogs are allowed. (Surroundings:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar. Another three restaurants are even closer to your holiday house. Some of them offer spectacular lake views.
