This hotel is very well situated for the old town of Ankara. The check in process was fast and easy. The hotel look modern and well kept. The Room was good and comfortable, unfortunately the location of the hotel is in a busy main street in the centre of Ankara, so the noise from traffic is very loud even in the high floors, the hotel may have rooms that are more quiet, but ours was not one of those. Breakfast was a decent Turkish breakfast, but a coffee latte was extra charge. The service was good in general. Overall the hotel is a good choice, and if you get a quiet room then, is a excellent choice in the centre of Ankara.

The Kahya hotel is one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever seen. It’s really cozy and interestingly cheap especially if you are from Europe. Hotel’s crews are doing a great job and they will do their best if you need them. It should not be unmentioned that you can have any well known Turkish foods on its restaurant. All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Ankara.

I was in Ankara for a week on business at the Days Hotel. This is my honest review. Just I add that for some reason this hotel is ‘by Wyndham’ but the one week point collection stay was not added to my Wyndham rewards membership for some reason unknown to me. Most of the men working at the front desk and breakfast area are smokers. They stand in front of the main entrance smoking and when they walk into the lobby it smells like cigarette smoke. I stayed in Room 306 for a week. The first 2 days, the same song was on repeat in the entire general area and restaurant of the hotel. Butterfly by Maria & Whitney. They might need a new ‘hotel dj”. They did change this after I mentioned it to the lady at reception. Gizem at reception is amazing. She was very helpful with arranging transport, check-in and tourist information. At breakfast there is a fresh open buffet with an Automatic Coffee machine, the machine makes nasty instant bitter coffee and since the day I arrived it was not serviced, I asked the man and lady at the breakfast area why there is no hot chocolate and they said the service man doesn’t show up. That coffee machine needs maintenance service but no one seems to care. The servers offer filter coffee but I prefer and expected a Wyndham group hotel to have espresso type coffees. The butter in the buffet corner sits outside in room temperature without any kind of cooling. As stated on the label, the maximum temperature it should be stored at is 4 Celsius. The breakfast room temperature is about 20 Celsius. The breakfast overall is traditional Mediterranean buffet. It is acceptable for this business hotel. Yeter, the cleaning lady was very intelligent and had common sense. She even organized my cosmetics. The bed, towels and sheets are lovely clean and in good condition. The TV does not have screen casting and barely any English channels so if you want to watch Netflix bring your own HDMI cable and laptop. If you get lucky the WiFi in the hotel room might work. The Wi-fi at this hotel is unstable. As you can see in the photos, you enter your ID # and room #. I had to do this 5-6 times while getting cut off every 2-3 hours each day. In the evenings the wifi is very weak, impossible to have international video calls. At night after 12 the internet connection is completely cut off. I had trouble conducting video calls with the USA and Portugal. Yalin at the night shift reception could not help as he said the internet service man is not available so he could not fix the wifi problem. The reception & lobby (work area) has a completely different wifi system. Obviously the internet gateway company is not good. The Days Hotel claims to be a business hotel but I was disappointed with this wifi internet hassle every day and every night. You can not depend on this hotel for Wifi and internet reliability. The best points were the excellent room with the comfortable bed and the prime location.

The staff are GREAT, everything else is terrible. This hotel is one of the worse hotels we have stayed in, in a very longtime. It is OLD and very TIERED. The rooms were clean but felt dirty because everything was so old, the bathroom was from the 1950's, just horrible. The A/C did not work in the whole building, only the heat, we had to sleep with open balcony doors. The elevators are also very old and tiered, this whole building needs a serious renovation, or better yet, complete demolition and rebuild. There was no interior parking either, so guest cars stay in the all star sky parking. A hotel NEVER to stay at ever again.

I highly recommend this small hotel located in the city center. The transportation is convenient. You can walk to the Ankara Museum and Castle in 20 minutes. There are many restaurants on Fridays and it is very lively. I arrived at one o'clock in the morning, and the front desk was waiting for me. They were warm and friendly, could communicate in English, and helped me take my luggage to the room.
The room is small, warm and clean, the decoration is simple and comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and has bathroom supplies.
The only hotel I stayed in in Turkey had two free bottles of water in the minibar, and none of the five-star hotels in Istanbul had it.
The boss also helped me check train tickets the next day and called a taxi for me after checking out.

I have visited the hotel for a business meeting and I got very pleasant surprised by it and its staff. The people in the hotel and the staff at the reception were very supportive and helped me with some urgent issues that appeared at the time of my stay. I am very satisfied and would love to come back if I have the chance.

although the old furniture and room layout, the hotel was excellent to stay in, you get more than what you paid, truly it was an excellent stay. Naim, from the reservation team, made this possible, we had a challenge on the first night, but his fast action and solution drew a big smile to our faces, and a big thank you to Naim and the restaurant team who were very very outstanding staff members.

Outstanding
GGuest UserLocated on the hillslope in the south of Kizlay, for walking it is not easy to reach. The room is very clean but there's no lid of the dust bin in the bathroom, so if we throw used paper from toilet it will be stinking. Shower gels and shampoo had very strong mint smell and not comfortable before sleep. Breakfast is average and there's no juice and only cold and hot water with tea bags are available, had only very small portion of meat and no sausage, no omlet but only boiled egg. The most negative part was that the Internet was so slow and even some foreign websites were not accessible at all. Overall it is not bad but there's much to improve and not competitive with other hotels in Ankara.
GGuest UserFront, upper rooms offer fantastic view. All personnel was very kind, respectful and friendly, especially Anil, in the restaurant. He did always exceed my expectations... Hotel is located next to a mall in a busy business location. I would come back.
GGuest UserI stayed for three nights, and could not have been happier with the comfort of the room, the COVID-cleanliness and precautions they took, and - most of all - the service from the staff. I needed help with an international call and in booking a ferry after I left the hotel: they helped with both. And they didn't need to ... my international call didn't go through from the room (probably my goof), and they placed the call for me. When I had tried to book a ferry to Istanbul on a website that kept finalizing the transaction in Turkish, they helped me sort out the inputs. AND when my US credit cards were not accepted, they even booked using a corporate card, and added the expense/no surcharge, to my room. Finally, when I left my camera in cab after leaving the hotel, they worked with my (future) tour leader in identifying the cab, holding the camera for me, and mailing it to me forward on the trip. They didn't have to do any of this: I'd already left the hotel ... but they were excellent in helping me out. The location is good, per the other reviews, but what really makes them stand apart is how they genuinely take care of the hotel guests both in general property conditions as well as making the stay a comfortable one.
GGuest UserI arrived the hotel around 10am. Check-in time is after 2pm. I paid for king size bed room but they said there is just small room available. So if u need to check-in early maybe u couldn't get what u paid.
GGuest UserIt was a hotel we stayed one night on the road. The price is quite good for performance. It has a parking park, its room was clean, the ladles smell like. The air conditioning is quite good. They bring the breakfast themselves, if you have a different request, they do when you say. We were very happy. A hotel we will stay again in our next visit to Ankara.
GGuest UserThe room was nicely designed with well appointed bathroom and good toiletries. Linen was good with sleep comfort. However there was no tea kettle or facility to make it. The air conditioning was in fixed mode and surprisingly there was no WiFi and the reception informed us that for that period it was not available in whole of the Ankara !!! Breakfast was good, both in quality and quantity of food.
AAmandaMeWe stayed only one night and I think this Hotel is a good choice if you are looking for something simple but also clean and convenient. The structure is being renewed at the moment and the room we stayed in was recently finished. Even though everything was clean and nice the bathroom was very small (as well as the toilet, the shower and the trash bin in it), that's the only negative point I give.
I appreciated the complementary water, the kettle with tea and the slippers. Also the breakfast was nice. 10 mins walk to the metro station.
GGuest UserWorst hotel we stayed in Ankara. The staff of the hotel is incredibly rude. we had to go down again and again because there was a problem with the door card and the door. We preferred the hotel for the massage, but it was an underground salon independent from the hotel and the prices were higher and lower quality than the alternatives. If you are just looking for a hotel in the center or if you are looking for a spa hotel, it should definitely be your last choice. The ventilation of the bathroom is bad and it smells. The walls are very thin, you can listen to the conversation of the next room completely. They charge exorbitant fees for the products in the room.
Buna dikkat edin.Otelin arka sokaklarında boş yer bulabilirseniz oraya çekin. Biz öyle yaptık.
