Courtyard des Moines Ankeny

This is a beautiful hotel, clean and very modern. During our stay they gave us excellent service and even printed some forms that we needed for the airport. There is an amazing in-house restaurant as well, that serves breakfast and dinner. Eric the manager was very helpful and considerate. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel with plenty of tables to gather with friends in the lobbly. TV's and a bar that serves bar food as well as drinks are in this area. This area also has breakfast items in the morning. This is not a free breakfast buffet like at some Marriott properties. The evening bartender was very nice and went out of her way to locate a deck of cards for our family to play with while visiting in that lobby. There are many options for food close by. The room has a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee pot and was clean and comfortable. The blackout curtain had many tiny holes from sun damage that needs to be changed. The location is about 20-30 min from Ames so it's a nice area to stay if visiting Iowa State.. Prices are much better here than in Ames, especially on high volume weekends.

Booked room with a sofa but got chair only. Evening staff could of been more cheery, morning staff was great

Room was nice, parking easy, staff luke warm. They staff are friendly but not warm and inviting very transactional.

In the review it said what did I like about the Free breakfast, it was NO free or included but a regular priced breakfast. Very nice location & great place to stay though

Breakfast was good. Parking was safe. We were allowed to bring our e-bikes to the room for charging. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The man who checked me in was super friendly and welcoming! My interaction with him was a great start to my stay

No consideration for food allergies The breakfast dinning was closed, coffee was able for purchase. They offered a free buffet but the food options were apples, bananas, eggs, bacon, potatoes & strawberry/banana yogurt. Bringing a child to this was not an option as the child had severe allergies to all foods provided. When booking they did not list the dinning bistro wouldn’t be available. Even when asked about it because of food allergies & proof of carried epi pen there wasn’t much options. Had to leave to take child to eat return & then swim for minimum time due to check out. Had we been alerted prior to the lack of dinning options for breakfast we would have stayed else where.

I swear when i booked room it said breakfast was included...it was not. When i looked again at the app and my stay, it said $7.95 breakfast buffet. Wrong again. A very expensive breakfast is what we purchased there...everything else was great
