While the employees were friendly ( front desk and breakfast lady) the hotel is disgusting. The tub has mold and is slippery. The bed is on a metal stand that sounds like a gong whenever you move or get in and off bedThe bedding is rough and all ripped up. The pillows are flat. The bed is like a pull out mattress the floors are sticky and dirty. The lobby smells like a car freshener cover up. Security is non existent middle of the night.

There was a problem with the first room and they graciously moved us to another room. When there was a problem with the door lock they also quickly had maintenance repir the lock.

Room was clean and bed was very comfy. It was nice they have 2 chairs in the room. We had problems with the tv and the lady came up and fixed it for us.
We did have a problem finding the building itself. There is no drive way and check in is in the side of the hotel.

I thought the room was very nice and spacious when we stayed. The shower pressure was very good and strong. Good simple breakfast, 10/10 would stay again!

We had had a horrible experience just before we got there at another hotel. The staff at Quality Inn were fantastic! They listened to our frustration, did a quick but thorough job of checking us in, the room was spotless, and the person at the front desk when we left was very helpful and kind. We will recommend Quality Inn!

Conviently located in central Ankeny Iowa. Very clean and comfortable with updated accommodations! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were supportive and comfortable. Stay included breakfast and all for a competitive price. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to family and friends. A great value for the quality and service. We will definitely stay again on return trips to Ankeny. December 2025
