This is the second year in a row that I have stayed here for work. The room was in good condition and the bed was comfortable. The gym has free weights and some treadmills. The breakfast is the standard. The best part is the location. There are so many different restaurants, a library, and a theater all within walking distance. I do recommend this location.

Always a good place to stay for us when visiting family. Close to groceries, restaurants, and of course, family. Layout makes check-in easy, and the staff have always been courteous. The rooms are all well equipped.

Everything that was there was very clean. But the room had no paper or pencils. I often have to take notes on an impromptu basis, but had to go out to the car. There was no one at the front desk. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The "free" breakfast was dismal. Missing a lot of things like orange juice and bacon. However, the biscuits and gravy was good.

Staff was awesome rooms were great all around great place to stay. It was convenient to all of the eating places, gas stations, and wedding venues. There are so many other fun things to do right around the Hotel.

Love the location, whilst not in central Des Moines it is in a lovely area that’s new and modern. A lovely lake a few minutes walk away with wild rabbits around. Hotel looks over a lovely safe and clean town square. Quiet hotel and neighbourhood. Plenty of free parking. Lovely indoor pool which we used on site. Rooms are modern though 4 year old hotel and some things showing wear eg silicon in showers stained (see photo) and vents in bathroom really dirty and dusty (see photo) . Dead plant at reception entrance not a great look either. Reason I did not give 5 stars is we arrived late and were given a room with zero crockery or cutlery and a broken dishwasher. Had to get a few glasses from breakfast area downstairs. Were moved next day but initial room should be taken out of service until dishwasher fixed. Housekeeping advised this was why there was no crockery or cutlery but somehow we’d been allocated that room and hotel was definitely not full. Ramona at front desk deserves recognition for her friendliness and can do attitude. Very helpful and welcoming. We liked it here so much we added an extra night.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel in a great area. There’s a lot of different shops within walking distance along with restaurants. The hotel itself is brand new and very well-maintained. The rooms are in excellent condition and the beds are even better. I would highly recommend this hotel, if you were in the area.
