We enjoyed staying at the Bell Tower Hotel for a couple of days for a mini staycation. The hotel has a lot of old time charm and is (thankfully) not your typical sterile chain hotel. We especially enjoyed the Norman Rockwell prints lining the hallway. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. The hotel is on the campus of the University of Michigan and you can feel the campus energy. The location can’t be beat, as you are able to walk to many restaurants, stores, theaters and museums within just a few minutes.

The room was very nice! It had a mini bar with a refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The valet service was excellent. We just called down to the front desk a few minutes before we wanted to leave and the car was out front. The Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. There were eggs, bagels and cereal.
