Stayed on a business trip. Nice location close ton downtown and University, a lot of good restaurants in the area. Room was spacious, modern, well equipped, clean. All the staff I have met was very friendly, offering help. They also have a (smaller) gym. but for Residence Inn relatively well equipped gym. Overall, positive experience.

Absolutely love this hotel. It became a home away from home for us while our son attended the University. Tracy and her team make you feel welcome at every turn. There is always a special touch be it the bagels, festive donuts, coffee bar and special shuttle service to graduation. Game day brings out all the fans ready to cheer the Wolverwines, and the front desk team is no exception. Thank you for making our trips to Ann Arbor so special! GO BLUE!

Booked 3 rooms here for a weekend since we were attending an event next door, my daughters wedding. Tracey, the manager, was top notch! Her attention to our needs were fantastic. This was my daughters wedding weekend and we needed everything to be "perfect" and we couldn't have been more pleased to have chosen this hotel for our stay. Tracey was one of the best hotel managers I have come across. Also, I need to comment on Alisa in House Keeping. With a whole wedding party getting ready in a two bedroom suite I'm sure you could imagine what a mess we made & extras we needed with the salon staff and make up artist preparing for the "big day". We had called House Keeping and Alisa was there in minutes to assist with our needs. If you are looking for accommodations in Downtown Ann Arbor, I highly recommend this hotel. Service, hospitality, breakfast, pool, and location were fantastic!!

Do not stay at this dump.$ 1,000 a night for a hotel that is dumpy and old. They know they’ve got you for UMich graduation, and they don’t give a whit. Our room was terribly hot. I asked more than 5 times for some relief. The hotel heat was blasting. The room thermostat was limited to 65 degrees. I asked them to adjust the thermostat in my room so I could counteract the heat. They said two things: 1. There was no governor on the thermostat; and 2. They could not make the room cooler. Both lies of course. If you have any choice, avoid this “hotel” like the bubonic plague. Awful. Dirty. Hot. Terrible customer care

We were not only impressed with the hotel — it is perfect located in the heart of campus with easy parking— but Kevin went above and beyond to help us when our car battery died. He quickly came to our rescue helping to jump start the car. Without his help we would have missed our dinner plans and we had a 10 hour road trip ahead of us the following day. . Thank you Kevin! You were our hero!!!!

I stayed for 4 nights. The price was only available in winter, which was a relief. I checked the website to see if I could make a reservation for spring or later, but the price was almost double.
The front desk staff were always smiling and friendly, which was reassuring. It was a shame that there was no bathtub, but the cleanliness and facilities of the room were impeccable. However, on the first night, the air conditioner was broken, and no matter how much I turned up the temperature, the room temperature did not rise, and I felt cold in bed, so I put on my coat and went to sleep. It was fixed the next day.
