Stylish and cozy: Austrian wooden chalet for 8, only 300m from slopes

A real gem of a place We had a top week at Ulrike's retreat. The chalet is as described (better even) and its location excellent for local walks as well as further away visits including Salzburg, Hallstatt, and of course of the whole Dachstein area. On location and to be enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna add a real bonus, as well as few nice restaurants immediately around. Ulrike took real good care of us with countless tips and plans to try out. Thank you!!

A "mountain view" Wonderful cottage with much hand-made wooden furniture, beds, walls etc. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths fine for 6-8 people. Unbelievable mountain view from spacious deck. There are several nice restaurants within 10-15 minute drive. Communal pool in near-bye reception building. Host was very responsive and helpful; we were weather delayed one day but Ulrike offered us to stay 1 extra day at the end (since was open); this was a very generous gesture. thank you very much. Our group of 5 adults and 1 child enjoyed the cottage very much.

Good experience, a bit overpriced. We had a wonderful time during the last week of the year. Convenient location walking to skiing pistas and rentals. Beautiful views. Great response from owner when needed. Comfortable cabin for all 6 people, but common areas a bit tight and limited entertainment options if staying indoors (eg: no smart tv to connect to movie apps). Picture in the add does not show a water tank (or similar) located on one side of the house. Given the high cost of rental, additional fees from vrbo and from owner, we were expecting a bit more on the hospitality upon arrival - Simple things that don’t cost much but add to the experience, but overall very good holiday.

Wonderful Marvelous! The cottage is perfect and very clean. The seesight on the mountains and landscape around is unique. We appreciated the swimmingpool and sauna late afternoon, when coming back after our visits in the region. Thanks Ulrike for your disposal and your very good communication in french. Delightful accommodation in mountains Gorgeous scenery and immaculate chalet in mountains. Well stocked modern kitchen and plenty of room for 5 adults. We appreciated welcoming host and her help negotiating trip details. Traveling from US. Stayed 4 nights. Chalet was exactly as presented in VRBO.
