Hôtel le Lagon

Staff and hotel are very accomodating during a time when the airport was closed and tourists required to stay longer than intended. All of the staff were friendly, greeting you with warmth and doing all the can to look after you. Hotel in a very good location. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Pharmacy and mini marts nearby for any supplies as well. I hope to come back to Noumea one day and would gladly stay at Le Lagon Hotel

Very convenient location to restaurants, bakery and small grocery stores. Had a spa pool and pool which were both heated. Beach was at the end of the road.

I would personally like to say thank you to the owners for their understanding during the situation in May 2024. There was no question of concerns about extending my stay and they ensured that we had all the recent communications for information. Even with reduced staff, they made sure that breakfast was available and supplies were provided when requested. Je tiens personnellement à remercier les propriétaires pour leur compréhension lors de la situation de mai 2024. Il n'a pas été question d'inquiétude quant à la prolongation de mon séjour et ils ont veillé à ce que nous ayons toutes les communications récentes pour information. Même avec un personnel réduit, ils ont veillé à ce que le petit-déjeuner soit disponible et que les fournitures soient fournies sur demande. Everyone on reception provided plenty of advice and support and a big thank you to Thomas, who I spoke with the most. I have stayed at this hotel many times previously but my experience in May 2024 was exceptional considering the unusual situation. J'ai séjourné plusieurs fois dans cet hôtel auparavant mais mon expérience en mai 2024 a été exceptionnelle compte tenu de la situation inhabituelle I would highly recommend this hotel when making your booking in Noumea. Words cannot express how much my friend and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Lagon. Every single member of staff blew us away with their friendly attitude and nothing was too much trouble for them. From the booking (that I made directly with the hotel through their website and then by email, which I strongly recommend) through to our arrival, booking taxis, finding softer pillows, and all the many questions we asked during our stay… everyone was extremely patient and the English/French language difference was no barrier to communication at all. Special thanks to Thomas, who gave us several excellent recommendations for places to visit and places to eat - your generous advice really helped to make our stay extra special. We loved this place so much that, after a few days outside of Nouméa, we ditched our last night’s accommodation elsewhere in the city and rushed back to Hotel Le Lagon for an unplanned extra night! If you’re looking for somewhere with lovely rooms, beautiful family-friendly hotel facilities, truly personal service and outstanding staff, in an awesome location, don’t look any further than Hotel Le Lagon. It really is the best. I was so sad when we checked out… it was like saying goodbye to family. I will most definitely be back! Merci beaucoup - á la prochaine!
