We stayed at The Bank while walking the Fife Coastal Path. It is an interesting layout with the accommodation side of the building having a separate entrance beside the bar/restaurant side. This makes it very quiet and relaxing, yet half a dozen steps along the pavement bring you to the main entrance for the bar, dinner etc. The hallway is hung with memorabilia from the building’s days as a bank, and the whole including our huge room had been freshly decorated. Dinner is served in a balcony-type extension beyond the main bar, light and airy and overlooking the harbour, and with big sliding windows which presumably can be opened in hot weather. Altogether an excellent place to stay and eat, highly recommended.
