Just home after 2 weeks at this hotel with family and we had a brilliant time! I have provided my honest review below… This hotel should not be advertised as 5 star. A 4 star would be fair as there is room for improvements. Rooms: A bit tired, in need of refurbishment. We were on the 8th floor and the furniture is a bit worn and showing signs of wear/ looks like they haven’t had anything done to them in recent years. Paint around windows and walls cracking. Lampshades stained. The shower is a good size and there was always hot water. Also glass windows to the front of the hotel are shattered half way up the building. Carpet in hallways stained. Food: Plenty of choice in the main buffet restaurant, snack bars at lunchtime were very good. Kebabs at one and pizza and pasta at the other. We went here everyday to break up always going to the main restaurant so we didn’t get bored. Drinks: Good choice of drinks, providing cans of soft drinks around the hotel and not just in the mini bar would be a good improvement. A lot of good branded drinks and beers served in bottles. Kids club: Very good. Always something on to keep them entertained and felt very secure with the wristband process. We were very impressed with the kids club and the kids in our party loved it. Illness stories are true: To clear up all the feedback of people saying they were getting ill while staying here, we found this to be true. 4 of our party all had symptoms of a sickness bug - high fever, sickness, diarrhoea. Not just a bit of a bad belly this was full on sickness and a high fever with loss of appetite following it. This lasted a full day or 2 days max for each of us. I guess it’s a mix of people having a bug and spreading it through hygiene, hand sanitising stations dotted around the site would help with it being such a large hotel. Something we found annoying was one day half way through our holiday a member of staff came to us at the pool and tried to pressure us into submitting a review on trip advisor and google there and then. I don’t review until the end of my stay to give an accurate and fair feedback on my visit so this was very unprofessional and annoying. A special mention to the rollerblade guy at the Olympic pool mete I think his name was, served us well everyday and was very pleasant and hard working. Also the lady on the pool towel desk she was so friendly and cheery everyday when we met her. She made us smile every morning! All in all we had a good holiday with family but I would definitely say it is fair to say that this hotel is not 5 star and should not be advertising itself as it is until some well needed improvements are made. The price we paid per person £2k for 14 nights I feel was well over what it was worth.

We stayed 1st December until 15th December 2025. On first impression you think, wow what a grand hotel complex, impressive entrance and lots of people busily going about their day. We booked in with ease and were directed to our rooms (not shown) The bellboy bought our suitcases up about ten mins later. We had a side sea view room with a double bed. Well the bed was a small double (or maybe just because we're used to king size) but the duvet was not big enough for the bed or two people (lucky it was hot, so we didn't really use it) The air con was only available for the first few days we were there before they switched it off, so we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Upon entering the room, I thought it was a bit small but at first glance it was clean and tidy. Kettle and mini bar (no snacks as advertised) powdered milk and cheap coffee. Even premier inns, you get the little cartons of UHT milk. I found there were plenty of drawers and wardrobe space for our personal needs. The bed (even though I think it is small for a double) is very comfy. One point I would make is, the waste bins could do with being a bit bigger, in my opinion. The water pressure in the walk in shower was really good but I think it overwhelmed the tray as after I had showered the water was everywhere (the shower glass panel was leaking as well). The cleaners came in each day and left clean towels, new toilet roll and made the bed and emptied the bins. The room could do with some updating and maintenance. The restaurant was kept clean and there were different sections to eat in with different themed decor. There was an over 16 area and a kids dinning area too with cartoons playing and things to keep them entertained. The food was lovely but unfortunately it was the same every day so it got a bit boring. The first week we were here, there was a big conference on and lots of business men were stopping at the hotel which made the normal guests get forgotten about with service for drinks in the bars. My other half had to keep going to the bar himself for our drinks. It is good that the sports bar is free, the ten pin bowling, mini arcade, pool, billiards and playstation room are all free to use (you just need to book a time slot). In my opinion, the winter concept of entertainment is not what it should be, quiz nights were a disaster, bingo took a long time and when the Live music is on, it's just different people singing the same songs (they are good, don't get me wrong)! I think the use of "winter concept" is just an excuse to cut costs in the quieter months, I understand that, but people will not come back if there is nothing to do. There was no entertainment team (that I knew of) and the outdoor entertainment i.e volleyball, football etc, didn't happen. All the swimming pools were full of litter and algae (apart from the one heated one). The vitamin bar, you would expect there to be smoothies and juice (which is advertised) however this was not the cas

The hotel is not far from the the airport which was a bonus. Upon arrival staff were very attentive but some have limited English language ability. We were upgraded to a swim up pool room, away from the main hotel which was beautiful and very quiet. The hotel is very clean considering the amount of people it caters for. Although I'd say the hotel was near fully booked it only seems busy during eating time in the vast dining area. The hotel complex is very big so it copes well with large numbers. The food in the main dining area can be the same every day but is a slightly better set up than the usual all inclusive standard. I just wish they catered more for the English guest reference a more English styled breakfast with home style bacon and sausages. We went to the steak restaurant which was nice but the service went downhill after a good start. The starters were lovely but my steak was disappointing. The Italian can be hit and miss. They serve Burgers and hot dogs all night but the quality wasn't great. The pizza restaurant and Chicken restaurant near the beach are lovely and should be open in the evening as well as an option. We ate here most days for lunch as the fresh half chicken and kebabs are simple but lovely. The coffee hut is great but should be open longer during the day. The ice cream and waffles available are good too. The pool water was freezing and nobody was really in the pool but it was 25 degrees weather so not warm enough to heat the pool water. The beach area is nice but be careful on the boardwalk area as the wood is quite old or dried up with the odd nail sticking up. A man we met had a nasty fall in one of the private gazebos right on the water after a large plank gave way. We hired one of the pool gazebos which would be ok if you had a young baby for privacy etc but overall I wouldn't pay the money again. Any food that we ordered was dried up or cold. You have a fridge with all drinks available. Overall the drinks service is very good but it depends who serves you, whether you get the strong stuff or not. The guy on the roller skates by the big pool never stops! The bars in the hotel itself are good and be sure to book the ten pin bowling which has a nice bar area. The kids club is very good, but did notice that any adult can just walk in without being challenged. There were a few very drunk people in there who should not of been. The entertainment wasn't great but its October, but this should not matter as the hotel was still busy. I believe there are good shows on during the summer. As others said there was too much dance music on at serious levels noise wise. CONCLUSION: YES I WOULD RETURN WITH MY OWN KIDS BUT PROBABLY IN MAY NOT OCTOBER. THE SUMMER TIME IS TOO EXPENSIVE. THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD WITH NO MAJOR ISSUES.

Lovely hotel. We were given the family suit which worked perfectly for our family because it had 2 bedrooms. The only annoying this was we had to carry the pram up and down the stairs several times a day. The food was great with lots of selection. As it was end of season, a lot of things began to shut down like one of the restaurants near the beach and a lot of the pool bars. The swimming pool was very cold but this was expected. We resorted to using the indoor pool more and the beach water was still a good temperature. The best thing about this hotel for us was the kids club. The staff were amazing and the facilities were amazing. My son enjoyed the soft play, games room, woodwork workshop, clay making, t-shirt printing and Lego coding activities. There was also a lovely baby room for our little baby to enjoy. Unfortunately the restaurant in the kids club had also closed down due to the end of season but that would have been a great addition also. Overall very happy with this hotel and would recommend to friends/family. Would definitely return if we find a good deal.

Late booking for half term. 24th-1st November. It’s hard to review as I get the end of season and winter aspect and closing down however if you still open and still accepting holiday makers then I needed more. Can’t blame hotel for weather and cold Pools (apparently one is heated tho I didn’t feel it when I jumped in) As this time of year what do you expect. But dated rooms, entertainment poor, poor cocktail menu needs updating, staff look tired miserable, probably doesn’t help when there’s not enough of them to clean tables and get you a drink so you end of cleaning tables yourself especially at night. However the towel lady always looked happy. Coffee hut outside which my opinion needs to be open earlier. And obviously closing down to one bar outside and one pastisserie the queues were big and waiting, all for what an extra few staff. So that’s my moan bit Not for the good stuff. Food good no problems. Slides great daughter and me at times Loved them. Kids club daughter Said it was good. Waffles great. And maybe the best thing cabanas. Ordered one. Best day we had. Would recommend highly. Nice touch. So all in all. We had a nice time. Some people will say it’s a 4 star it’s better than that. But we have been to better 5 stars,so we won’t be back, but wouldn’t put anyone of from going and I’m sure in the summer and with some changes it would be great.
