What a surprise this lovely hotel was! Within 15 minutes of Belfast International Airport. Set back from the main road, as soon as my wife and I walked in we were greeted by Kathryn (the Australian lady) and another lady who had just recently started her new job. They were both lovely, made checking in easy and immediately made us feel at home. They gave us all the information we needed. Both are a credit to the hotel. The room that we had on the ground floor was spacious and clean and the bed itself was huge and really comfortable. We loved it. And because the hotel is set back there was minimal noise during the night. I slept soundly! Breakfast in the morning (buffet style) was fantastic. So much to choose from. We will definitely return.

The hotel was good, and the breakfast was nice. The first two days we had breakfast made by request, meaning the food was very fresh. On one day we had a buffet breakfast and some items were not great. Staff were all lovely and really helpful. Lots of parking and good location at the Junction. There was no kitchen open at all during our stay, which was quite inconvenient.

The whole is perfect, the environment is beautiful, and the Western food is super delicious! But the traffic is very inconvenient, just like the island, you can take a car to and from the airport.

We had a lovely one night stay. It is conveniently located close to the motorway system, Belfast and the airport - we had an early morning check for the ferry home and it was an ideal location. The public areas of the hotel are stunning with an amazing staircase and gallery along with cosy bar areas and a restaurant overlooking the river. The gardens are very sweet and you can't miss the tree of peace and unity - or the 5 delightful peacocks! Our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Very good free wi-fi, excellent heating system and a comfy, huge bed. Great shower and nice toiletries and clean. We had a very relaxing drink in the bar which overlooks the garden - so relaxing that I never got to try out the spa facilities - hopefully next time. We had a very enjoyable dinner. A good selection for each course, very well cooked, generous portions and thoughtfully presented. Thoroughly enjoyable and well priced too. Breakfast was buffet style. We skipped the tempting full Irish and especially liked the very fresh fruit salad and yogurt. But what really made this hotel special for us were the people who work there. From the moment we arrived until we left they were all so very friendly, helpful, caring, accommodating, amusing and happy to spend a few moments chatting. Nothing was too much trouble. So when I have a minute I shall be booking a return stay there at the end of next year's trip to Northern Ireland - and may be this time I'll check out the Spa!

We arrived to the newly refurbished Kingfisher recently, lots of car parking available and hotel exterior was lovely. On check in we highlighted we were aware we had arrived early (in the receptionist's defence we did not say we arrived early to enjoy a drink on the terrace before check in) and were greeted with ”check in isn't until 4pm sir” in an interesting tone. On checking, our room was ready but we felt the words of this staff member was although professional; their tone was quite rude. Additionally we were unaware of the £150 holding fee on the room until check out- however we may have missed this when booking. With the exception of check in, we enjoyed our break. Friendly bar staff and fab cocktails enjoyed on the terrace- quite wasp heavy but to be expected at this time of year. Our room was spacious and comfortable and looked great following refurbishment. The spa is definitely worth a visit, great facilitates and friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were both lovely, lots of selection on the dinner menu and at the breakfast buffet, we would recommend this hotel.

A wonderful experience. We stayed for two nights in huge rooms with superior bathrooms, comfy beds and little extras that made the stay even better - bottled water, biscuits on the tea/coffee tray, chocolates etc. John welcomed us and Charles met us later and was kind enough to drive (and collect us!) to a nearby pub for dinner. Breakfast was superb - white linen tablecloths at breakfast, what a treat - after fruit juice, great fruit selection, yogurt and cereal, pots of tea, etc Charles delivered hot plates full of beautifully cooked Ulster fry. On the second night, we ordered in an Indian takeaway from a nearby restaurant. Charles arranged a table in the conservatory where we could eat, again with linen tablecloths despite the threat of spills! As a place to stay, away from home, this cannot be beaten. Thank you all for looking after us so brilliantly.
