Tom and Karen were the best hosts—warm, professional, generous, and considerate. We requested no housekeeping during our stay, and afterwards, two bottles of water automatically appeared at our door every day—a thoughtful service even most five-star hotels don't provide. The century-old house was beautifully renovated, with modern amenities and a comfortable bed. The wooden floors were a little noisy, but it didn't bother us much, and the hosts thoughtfully provided earplugs by the bedside. The location was fantastic, less than two kilometers from the train station, which is within walking distance if you don't have much luggage. Major attractions, several art galleries, and museums are all within walking distance, and there's a bus stop right outside. There are so many places to visit nearby that you could stay a week and still not see everything. The Madonna restaurant at the Royal Gallery is beautiful and delicious, and the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant on the rooftop of the MAS Museum is easy to book. The zoo is definitely worth a visit, and the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance.

This is a serviced apartment; it was very clean, the room size was just right, and there was parking nearby. Tom's service was excellent, very attentive, and exceptionally efficient. I booked the room around 8:00 AM that morning, and he replied immediately, arranging the room for me and even making up the extra bed before 1:00 PM. During this trip, I traveled through Europe for over 20 days, booking chain hotels, guesthouses, and serviced apartments. Overall, I felt that serviced apartments in Europe were probably the better option.

I absolutely loved my stay at Maison Nationale. It was the perfect spot to spend a couple of days in Antwerp and I felt like I had my own stylish, clean, well appointed flat - in a beautifully restored building - right in the middle of incredible shops, restaurants & design stores. I took the train from Amsterdam to Antwerp's incredible train station (a wonder in itself), found it easy to navigate the subway (ask someone & they'll point you in the right direction) & walked 6 mins to the Maison...doable even with my overpacked luggage! From there, it's a 2 minute stroll to shops like Mecca, I mean Dries Van Noten, or 10 mins to City Hall & it's gorgeous square, the river & the Cathedral of our Lady. Walk 10-15 mins through a pretty neighborhood in the other direction & you'll find the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, great food and more. There's also a market across the street, & I loved being able to grab a green smoothie, fruit, etc. The bed was super comfortable with lovely linens and proprietors Tom & Karen were beyond wonderful. Tom met me the day I arrived, gave me great tips and confidence as a solo traveller that I had landed in the right spot. A+++

Perfect Stay and Great Location!
I stayed at the Penthouse suite and was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. Location is great and I was able to walk to stores. Very clean and comfortable stay.
