Hotels in Roxbury,Boston
Lovely studio apartment in large Victorian-era house. With private entrance, newly renovated bathroom and kitchenette. Located very conveniently in the Dudley/Nubian Square neighborhood of Boston. Next to the South End, Boston Medical District and Jamaica Plain. Very close to everything the city has to offer, as well as public transit. With high ceilings, bay windows, hardwood floors, unique original details, and a porch with sofa to relax on. looks out onto a verdant yard. Also has a lush backyard garden and nearby parks include Franklin Park, part of the renowned Emerald Necklace of green space Boston is famous for! Cozily accommodates up to 4 people, with a queen-size bed and trundle-style full pull-out bed. Family friendly. Free on-street parking. The private studio space you will be staying in has a newly renovated kitchenette with two- eye electric stovetop, vent, handcrafted butcher block countertop, deep sink, mini fridge, toaster oven and coffee/ tea station. Please note, there is not a microwave or full size oven. The bathroom is also newly updated with beautiful tile and a hand-cut stone bench in the shower. There is a dining area with table and chairs adjacent to the kitchenette area, and basic cooking necessities provided along with dishes and cleaning supplies and toiletries, etc.The studio has a very comfortable queen size bed with pillow-top mattress topper and various pillows. There is also a comfy full size bed (on wheels) available that easily pulls out from underneath the foot of the queen bed., trundle-bed style The beds are framed by beautiful "stained glass" windows that allow light in, and also serve as a wonderful privacy screen. There are curtains in the windows that if pulled close do well to block the light out, when desired. The space feels very cozy when both beds are in use, and it is probably best to tuck the second bed away during the day for ease of passage through the space. This space is most ideal for one or two people, though can cozily accommodate up to 4 people, who do not mind being in close proximity to each other. A great space for a family with kids. We do also have a portable infant bassinet and toddler high chair available for use upon request. There is a desk workspace in the studio, with electric outlet nearby, as well as a fully functional piano with bench, for those who wish to play! The entrance to the space opens to a covered porch with a sofa that guests are free to relax on, it looks out onto a rare green space next door, and our own verdant front yard garden. There is a side driveway leading to the porch entrance, which is on the side of the house, that offers some privacy from the street, where there is plentiful free-on street parking available! This street is in a lovely historic part of the city, designated an "official Historic District" with many beautiful old homes to admire! We are very close to many great food spots, coffee shops, parks, interesting street art, as well as a large newly renovated library, main bus station, an outdoor zoo, and Franklin Park, a gorgeous sprawling green space connected to the larger Emerald Necklace. We are within walking distance from Nubian Square, where you can find bus access to all over the city as well as a community blue-bike port and many happenings, restaurants, a great brewery, and two grocery stores. We are also less than 15 minutes drive from most points in the city, with extremely easy access to the Medical District and The South End as well as Jamaica Plain. This is an unbeatable location if you want to have access to all things downtown Boston has to offer, and stay in a fairly quiet neighborhood.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.We have a portable bassinet available upon request.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.

GGuest UserThe alley is very quiet, next to the Congress, and there is a convenience store at the intersection. The location is very good. Boston is quieter than New York and is more suitable for a short stay. The room I booked was on the third floor. It was difficult to carry too much luggage. There was no elevator. On the first night, I could hear people walking upstairs and talking in the next room. It was very quiet during sleep time. The room has a coffee machine, microwave, and toaster. Use a coffee machine to drink hot water, just don't put in the coffee.

Kkevin-abbieI lived in this apartment three years ago, and I chose this one when I came back to visit. You can cook, and there are a full set of kitchenware, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (freezer and refrigerator), washing machine and dryer. It is very close to the subway, and downstairs is East Boston Park (the park when William and Kate came to Boston), where you can see the entire Boston skyline. There are many playgrounds nearby, which makes the children very happy.
