I haven’t been to Seascape in 15 years. We previously enjoyed visiting here but the resort needed updating. I saw that the resort had undergone the much needed renovations and decided to book a visit. First of all, our room looked absolutely nothing like the ones their website. No updates at all, stained carpet that was peeling back (I stepped on a carpet staple 3x), sliding doors that stuck and the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Secondly, I hoped to drink my morning coffee on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view but construction started at 9am and went on for hours (our last it started at 8:30!). We complained to the front office and we’re told they would look into it and move us to a quieter room. They never got back to us! On top of all that we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn’t working. On our 3rd day it was storming so I was soaked by the time I walked the 3 stories to my room (only the 1st set of stairs were covered).
Upon checkout we relayed all of our complaints, the women we spoke to was very nice and apologized but that was it. No discount or compensation for our terrible stay.
Unfortunately, I will never be returning to Seascape. This really was unacceptable, especially for the price.
